Ok, there seems to be a mysterious condition going around that is causing sabotage to our eating. I know I'm not alone here when I admit that my eating this past little while leaves a lot to be desired, causing slight weight gain after such hard work to lose it.
I also know, that I am the same person who was practically flawless in my eating for like almost 90 days straight, so I know I can get ahold of this - who's with me??
There is no deadline for sign-ups, anyone can join at any time!!
All you have to do is check in once a week (at least) & let us know how you're doing. If/when you "cheat", simply let us know & I will restart your start date.
A cheat is defined as whatever a cheat would mean to you personally, whether it be going over your calories, bingeing, not eating enough, too many treats, etc. We all know when we've cheated, so just be honest with yourself
Let's be honest with each other & keep each other eating clean k? The PRIZE to the winner? Well that's easy - weight loss!!!!!!!!! (or maintenance for those at that stage!) Let's do this!

im in this sounds like a challenge!
Ugh, do you ever have one of those days where you're just hungry all the time??? Well today was one of those days for me. I had my 4:30 meal and an hour later I had my 7:30 meal (2 hrs early!) I just fet famished. Then I still felt hungry & had the following: (probably should have had a "real" meal instead. Oh well, it brought me to 1589 cals and I've restarted myself)
I dont' feel guilty or bad, just know I have to keep on going. So here we go again!!!

Restart me ,too, Dee. I turned my small slip on saturday into a full 3-day slide but i'm over it now...the 15th is good number to re-start on (easy to remember). i had about 2000 cal yesterday and it 75% crap: I was at "that store" i help out at and they went to kfc and tacobell...so i said sure i'll join you in eating some grease,fat,and sodium...thanks alot!! back to my good food.....ahhhhhh.
Hah!! Yes Dee, I see what you mean! A cheat for you is Healthy popcorn, REALLY healthy cereal and barely a scoop of icecream! My binges used to bring me up to WAY over 3000 cals! Now a binge, or cheat, is one cookie or some blue cheese dressing! We are so funny! But way thinner!!!! Thanks for all your motivation Dee, this challage has made sticking to my healthy lifestyle easier and fun! Day two for me!!! Off to a great start! Hope you all are too!!!

Hey chanb, check with Dee, but I think a "free" day that is planned out for calories and within limits you set this far in advance and you stick with what you set up, it is not CHEATING.

My work was done for me today ... I had 2 wisdom teeth taken out this morning, so I can't eat much even if I want to! It's going to be soup, soup and more soup ... maybe a banana for variety. Probably won't make my fiber limits but since the doctor forbid me to eat rice for the next few days, I'm relaxing that standard. Good job everybody!
hey everyone, i've been clean and proud. HOWEVER, tomorrow my boyfriend wants to take me out to this restaurant which has close to nothing grilled and i dont eat the sea food which is the only thing not sauteed or fried. What do i do?????

Boy rez, if you dont eat seafood, this may not be the place for you. Seems like their specialty! But they have chicken, just ask for it as plain as possible, or with lots of garlic and spices, and TONS of veggies!
This event has been 'planned' for quite some time. But I'm not counting calories at all on Saturday - first, I don't know what food will be at the party. And second, I couldn't be bothered with it.

ok, Dee - go ahead and restart me again for tomorrow's date.
I need a new strategy of consistancy (not my strong suite in any area of my life by any means). I worked out a ton this weekend - but then ate a ton. Came out "clean" but wreaked havoc on my body. I'm just not used to that much food anymore. Felt SO sick yesterday. Not to mention, now I haven't felt like working out in 3 days. *sigh*
So, consistant calories, and try to burn about the same a day, and average out to about a 500 deficit - rather than trying to do the math every day and eating "up to" my deficit. Probably how I should have been doing it all along, but live an learn. I'm finding out as I go along that this is as much a journey of discovery as a clean eating challenge for me.

Hi Everyone! Well, I have to start over today - I went to my Mom's for Mother's Day and ended up eating junk there (about all she had in the house) and then recovering emotionally from the visit yesterday, so I ate an extra 800 calories! : ) but I'm doing great today and right back on track. It's a good thing Mother's Day is only once a year! lol! So, that was 11 days for me without going off of my plan. It feels great and I'm happy to be back at it. I love this challenge - it's really helping me to be strong knowing that all of us are working through it together. Have a great day everybody!
Hey rez, better place for you I think! Yes, vinagarettes can be high, but get it on the side. The chopped veggie chicken salad looks good too! Dont be afraid to ask your server if they can tell you the cal count on the dressing! Unless of course your boyfriend would be mortified! But he shouldnt be! Just enjoy your dinner and make a choice that makes you feel good!!!!
yeah he would definately be embarassed. haha, i'll get a salad with the dressing on the side, and make sure not to eat too much of it. I'll also stay away from apetizers and there is this place down the stree with fat free frozen yogurt if he wants dessert. They also have low carb options. How many calories do you suppose the miaquite chicken salad has in it? Or the chopped veggie chicken? I'm just not wanting to go over my calories, it will probably a maintenance day. How much would yo assume it has, including the dressing? Thanks so much carie you're being so much help you have no idea!
