Ok, there seems to be a mysterious condition going around that is causing sabotage to our eating. I know I'm not alone here when I admit that my eating this past little while leaves a lot to be desired, causing slight weight gain after such hard work to lose it.
I also know, that I am the same person who was practically flawless in my eating for like almost 90 days straight, so I know I can get ahold of this - who's with me??
There is no deadline for sign-ups, anyone can join at any time!!
All you have to do is check in once a week (at least) & let us know how you're doing. If/when you "cheat", simply let us know & I will restart your start date.
A cheat is defined as whatever a cheat would mean to you personally, whether it be going over your calories, bingeing, not eating enough, too many treats, etc. We all know when we've cheated, so just be honest with yourself
Let's be honest with each other & keep each other eating clean k? The PRIZE to the winner? Well that's easy - weight loss!!!!!!!!! (or maintenance for those at that stage!) Let's do this!

Almost fell off the clean-wagon yesterday, it was rough going! Definitely some self-sabotaging thoughts going through my head. Was in such a foul mood I didn't even get on the treadmill. So I ate dinner, as much as I wanted, and had slight pain but it was short-lived (easily digestible dinner) and I'm still in. Keep me bold and brassy!

24 days clean and I weighed in today at 220.5 thats a 6 pound drop from where I have been and 20.5 pound drop from where I started on April 9 of this year. WAHOOOOO

I need suggestions for cheap food that is healthy!
I love sandwiches but they can get so expensive after you buy everything for them. I really was trying to do a healthy breakfast, cereal or nutrigrain bar (depends on time allotted), and then lunch, a sandwich, throughout the day popcorn, and then for supper whatever I decide to make and a salad. Oh, and throughout the day I also try and snack on a small amt of nuts and some grapes, which I can't afford.
Any suggestions?

i am feeling good not feeling so tierd any more i am not drinking as much pop and no it is diet pop so i am very happy about that and i really want to thank you dee for coming up with this clean eating challange because i think it really helps every body to have some one of a group of people to check in with and i know, this is the reson i am doing so well so thank you very much and every one is doing great. have a good day lisa
hey lisalcd17, i gave up all soda last week too(i used to drink about 4-5 cans a day) its been rough but i am learning to love lemon / water....diet soda is really bad for you i even had extreme leg cramps on the 5th,6th,7th days of no soda but they are gone now..it was weird..i gave up soda once before and had the same thing happen ..and i re-drank soda and they stopped ..this time i kept taking hot baths and ate motrin and had my bf massage them(poor guy)...it must have been aspartame withdrawl...i'm diet soda clean now!!!!
hey pharmspice is diet really bad for you i was doing good and only having one or two a week now i am up to about 4 or 5 and i had heard that befor please tell me way i dont rember. i like lemon water i drink it every day i drink a lot of water. sometimes i need more then just water any ideas i never had leg cramps but i did not drink that much only about one a day (sorry about spelling i am a bad speller) lisa and that is good that you are clean getting clean is the hardest part now you can do the rest

I'm still going clean. Made the mother promise to bring me back a frozen treat today because we don't have air conditioning and I saved up extra calories just for that. I'm so excited for it to come :D

anneh2003: my favorite healthy snack/meal is a whole wheat tortilla wrap with salad and dressing inside.here is how u make it:
take the whole wheat tortilla and add some pre'made salad which can be bought for like $3 at the store. pour over some low-fat, light dressing, whichever kind u prefer. fold the wrap and eat. if you can afford, light cheese, meat, mushrooms, peppers or anything else can be added.
I think I"m gonna reset my date to today. I didn't eat much bad yesterday, it's jsut that the stuff I ate was late at night while I was watching tv & I was up this morning on the scale. I really need to work on that. I don't eat at night very often, but it seems sometimes sitting in front of the tv, there's a pre-programmed thing in your head that says you should eat then.

I don't drink or eat anythign with asparatame in it either. It makes my tummy upset. I think you could eventually wean yourself off but probably one or two a week isn't gonna hurt anything at all.

unfunny bunny Lmao- ice cream is a killer for me too and most times i don't even keep it in the house. But I found theses great 100 cal slim a bear sandwiches kills the craving for sweet and is low cal

Hey Dee - I too have to watch for the late night sabotage. It doesn't help that every other commercial you see is some food ad. Are you a strick "no eat after 7 p.m. er?" and that's your reason for restart? I was just wondering......curious.....nosey. As for me, it's 6:50 p.m. Texas time and I have 455 cals left for dinner. Still on track for today. Will check in with you fine folks tomorrow. Big hugz to ya all.

Great day so far. My hubby went across the border to do some shopping & he went to the Golden Corral. I didn't go, cuz I knew I'd be a little oinker if I did. He is brining me back some of their cookies though, I just love 'em. I'll have 2 tonite when he gets home but it's budgeted for. Can't wait to see them, ahm, I mean him! lol!

Sorry I feel like I havent been on in a while. Ive had a really rough week. Im still eating clean though.
I need a restart to 19. Can't even come up with a good
excuse...just didn't want to stay clean badly enough to stay away from
sweets. Got my P90X videos in the mail though which has been
motivating enough to stay clean yesterday and today.
