Ok, there seems to be a mysterious condition going around that is causing sabotage to our eating. I know I'm not alone here when I admit that my eating this past little while leaves a lot to be desired, causing slight weight gain after such hard work to lose it.
I also know, that I am the same person who was practically flawless in my eating for like almost 90 days straight, so I know I can get ahold of this - who's with me??
There is no deadline for sign-ups, anyone can join at any time!!
All you have to do is check in once a week (at least) & let us know how you're doing. If/when you "cheat", simply let us know & I will restart your start date.
A cheat is defined as whatever a cheat would mean to you personally, whether it be going over your calories, bingeing, not eating enough, too many treats, etc. We all know when we've cheated, so just be honest with yourself

Nancy: My only recommendation is to stay strong! If you have to report in you just do it and get it over with. The last wedding I went to they had lots and LOTS of salads and fruits...maybe you'll get lucky! Just remember you have control of your eating! Good luck and I wish you the best!

Dee I need a restart
with that I have a confession to make. I spent most of this week discouraged and was throwing in the towel because it is a heck of a lot easier to do then being responsible for what I put in my mouth and no one noticing. I Spent this week going back and forth between starving and really over eating. Something really weird happened yesterday andIt all clicked. I went out with some family members I hadn't seen in a while and One of my fiances neices said wow is kim dieting she looks good. and suddenly I realized the reason no one else could really see it ( like me) is cause they are with me everyday. So I went from planning to get the bissest fatting thing on the menu to ordering from the ww menu (applebees) still had desert but it through me in a different frame of mind. I even made sure to eat dinner and skip desert even though I didn't make the best choice It was simple and I left most of the fries. Yesterday was my oldest daughters 12 birthday so for our mommy daughter thing I decided to take a friend up on a free trial at the gym she work at. so today we did a pump and grind class it was for an hour and man my legs feel like old celery!! but I feel good. Well any way the instructer towards the end of the class asked what the leading cause of death was for women was in this country was, heart disease of course and that we should feel good because we were deciding to do something good for our selves by choosing to work out, and I don't know but I heard somthing click and basically decided It was time to get serious. So the girl from class said we could be workout buddies and we could workout after school (even though I prefer mornings) but I am joining the gym for a while getting a trainer and getting accountable. once I realised there is really no way for any one here to be sure I was being true to me or not I decided now is the time to get accountable and since this is one of the rooms I get most of my support from I am chosing to get honest in here and I want you guys to help me be accountable for my self . cause I get bored way to fast. Thanks for listening to me babble and restart for tomorrow please. I have eaten clean today and planned to keep it that way this far but I will have a running start for tomorrow. I even went out and bought new running shoes ! Yes Dee runnig Shoes. I havn't ran in a while but who knows maybe soon.

Every day this week I had a Magnum Essense, which is a tiny bit of ice cream IMPRISONED in a chocolate coating and then some - but it effectively curbed my perimenopausal PMS/PMT symptoms and I haven't killed anyone near and dear to me. So, I consider myself clean and not wanted by the police. Oh yeah! Nancy

Well up and off to a good start had some Kashi oatmeal and black coffee for breakfast. got up to make sure I eat, usually I would say by the time I wake up it is too late to eat so if would have got up earlier but took kids to the late Harry Potter movie last night Got in ten to one this morning. I'm doing well this week. I even went to a movie and said no to popcorn. I got my daughter Fried Chicken one day and did not get any for myself. And it smelled so good! I just keep the mindset that I am not only doing it for my weight loss needs, but for my health. That is the biggest reason.

Just posting to say that I'm still on track. It's really hard with all the doughnuts around work, but I've learned that I can have a bite and not get off track. It just means that I'll have to work extra hard when I exercise.

Would like to try this challenge. I started Calorie-count last week at 250 with doctors saying I needed to go on insulin for my type 2 diabetes if things didn't change. Shook me up to the point of now I am dieting and it is working so well that I am was told to cut down the dose of my oral diabetic meds. I have to keep going and this challenge is just what I need. Bought a new scale and I am going to try after years of eating whatever I wanted.

I held strong yesterday! My boy and I went out to breakfast and EVERYTHING sounded soo good but I forced myself to settle of pancakes (light syrup) a side of scrambled eggs (no cheese) and toast (jam no butter) I WAS SOO EXCITED! I weighed in this morning and I'm down to 135!!!! I know that people say that dropping 5 pounds in a week is unhealthy but my weight fluctuates frequently anywasy...Besides seeing numbers like that is just so exciting and it makes me want to keep going!

jusy got in from the one hour latin areobics and 30 minutes of rowing machine. ate lunch and now off to study! gonna have pics redone this afternoon and measured tomorrow
I ate perfect yesterday with the exception of a whole container of Dibs. If you don't know what they are, they're dreamy chocolate ice cream bits covered in hard chocolate. I dont' even know why I grabbed them. I was grocery shopping & got them first, opened them & proceeded to eat them while shopping. Of course, you cannot throw precious chocolate in the garbage, so I ate them all.
Enjoyed them immensely, but it means a restart for me. I'm still in the game, it has not affected anything & in fact I was down today to 148.6 - yay!!!! But my date has been adjusted to today.
I also wanted to say how proud I am of all of you resisting your temptations all around you each day, donuts, fried chicken, popcorn at movies, etc. way to go!!!

nancy- I eat chocolate everyday. If I didn't I'd go nuts. My typical daily treat is a skinnny cow chocolate ice cream sandwich. They rock & they're HUGE!!! I look forward to them.

melinda- no drop after 10 days hey? Hmmm, I guess you do need to shake things up a bit. have you been working out again?? That might be enough to set you off on the downward slide again.
vapor- you're no slacker. Have a look at your own rules. Make sure htye're not crazy-hard. It's better to have looser rules & show your mind a lot of success, than to make it near impossible & have your mind see "failure" more often.

latin aerobics was fun and I can't dance but the tripping over my own feet for an hour straight got my heart rate up there. I am hoping to start the running thing tomorrow if my legs allow between the pump and grind and the dancing today my legs are killing me to sit down. I liked the wide array of women in the class There were even a few in there eightees in there and I did not care how stupid I looked or how much I thought I wanted to quit or the next step to kill me I was determined to keep up with them. Lol I may have to settle for trying yoga or something with my arms or maybe the 30 min abs. I am hoping to be able to run in the morning. I ate well today though and I drank about 5- 16.9 oz bottles of water today and am downing some vegtable juice to boost my calories a little more tonight cause I am 820 . I meet with the personal trainer on tuesday at 1:00 and I was told be ready to work out I am a little scared cause that is all new. I am taking pics in a few minutes to update my profile and I get my new measurements tomorrow or monday. I am worried cause I was in starvation mode for a little and I am not budging from 228.5 at all anyone know if you can correct starvation and /or binging? Oh as far as the dibs go last night at the movies I tried to order dibs at the concession and the guy told me they were all out he sold the last one ten minutes before I got ther. I had a little popcorn and a small soda though. The dibs mmmmm another mirage.!!
doing good and still clean. we had a bit of a lice scare one of the kids friends called and said their daughter had so instead of working out spent the day scrubbing heads of all five of my kids and sanitizing and washing bedding combing heads and putting everything where it goes. Wheew maybe that will count as a workout. upped my cals from 1250 to 1400 figured if I am gonna do some vigorous exercise then I might need more cals. I must admit I had a hard time eating 1250 cause I did alot of empty calories or just veggies and fruit and nothing else. Just telling on my self so I'll be more accountable. I think I might force down a scrambled eggs and salsa verde mmmm . trying to learn to measure my portions. still wish it was chocolate. thinking maybe I might post my intake and out puts daily in my journal and maybe even here to help keep on track.
I need to be started over...i've been clean so far today July 15.

ok its only 5:19 we just ate dinner. I am stuffed but I am onlyat 1032of my calories. I even had kraft mac n cheese with the kids for dinner. I know its a poor choice cause it is high in sodium but I knew I had close to 700 to add. So now what do I do I am feeling a little stuffed and I know I need to healthily up my calories so I was thinking I could have another Dole fruit cup but that is only 50 cals. I even had my slim a bear klondike already for and in between dinner snack . How do you guys and gals Eat the right calories HELP !!!!

Unfortunatley, I am a self sabateur and I have regained all but 2 pounds. I began eating like a beast! I am so ready to be a clean eater and I'm looking forward to motivating others and be motivated by you all!
