Ok, there seems to be a mysterious condition going around that is causing sabotage to our eating. I know I'm not alone here when I admit that my eating this past little while leaves a lot to be desired, causing slight weight gain after such hard work to lose it.
I also know, that I am the same person who was practically flawless in my eating for like almost 90 days straight, so I know I can get ahold of this - who's with me??
There is no deadline for sign-ups, anyone can join at any time!!
All you have to do is check in once a week (at least) & let us know how you're doing. If/when you "cheat", simply let us know & I will restart your start date.
A cheat is defined as whatever a cheat would mean to you personally, whether it be going over your calories, bingeing, not eating enough, too many treats, etc. We all know when we've cheated, so just be honest with yourself
Let's be honest with each other & keep each other eating clean k? The PRIZE to the winner? Well that's easy - weight loss!!!!!!!!! (or maintenance for those at that stage!) Let's do this!

I've been binging 4,000 calories per day for the last week... this is after I lost 12 pounds in six weeks, and now I've gained back three of the pounds! I've checked... they're stuck. It's not just water weight. =(

Just checking in. ONe day at a time seems to work best for me, thank you for the suggestion. I ate clean yesterday! Yay me! and as far as today goes, I haven't had anything naughty yet!

Ok, I'm gonna restart for tomorrow. Yesterday we had these nasty burgers from M&M Meat shops. They were yucky and I realized after cooking them that they were soooo full of fat. They made me soooo sick.
Then today, I was cruising around town in my convertible & it was soooo hot, All I could think of was DAiry Queen would be nice right now. I ate good food today but did the DQ ice cream & that is not acceptable in my "rules" unless I budgeted for it and I hadn't.
Even though I choose to have it and knew it would mean a restart, it was so nice to have, it's been sooooo long!

I'm doing okay... indulged a little with some junior scoops of frozen yogurt but I don't count that as cheating. Cheating would have been if I got a milkshake or something overflowing with calories. 88 calories and no fat is okay with me.
I made it through day one, now I'm attending a 3 day conference with breakfast and lunch provided (buffet style of course, lots of pastries & desserts, little in the way of lean protein) so I'm arming myself with my own lunch box in case there are no good (I mean clean) options. Wish me luck.

The grapes last night really hit the spot....I only had a handfull though (small hands lol) after that I was full. I had some kind of fruit juice that my mom had made yesterday...I figured that a glass of that and the grapes should be equal to the calories lol

It wasn't easy but I made it through the 1st day of the conference today, feeling good and optimistic about tomorrow.
Bad days always make me want to binge. But then I thought, "I really don't want to restart, especially this soon."

Rats! Need a restart. It's my own fault...I slipped down
too low in my calories for a couple of days until I was so famished
that ... whammy. SPLURGE!
As of this morning I am 9 days clean. I am having my daughter bday party this afternoon and this time I am not so nervous as last time . I decided to have it at the city pool. We are having a 6 foot sub a veggie trey and fruit tray. Way different menu as usually I would be doing Pizza or grilling tons on the grill and all kinds of mayonaisy salads. but nope the binge monster will not have it easy finding me today. I will not fear parties anymore ! I will make smart choices!! and god willing by days end I will be clean when I come home tonight.
Seems I'm not alone in having done really well for 3 months or so (20 lbs. lost), then overdoing it "just this once", except it goes on for a week and now it's back to 15 lbs. lost. Not bad, but no longer the right direction.
So I'm in. This is as good as any step I can think of to get (and keep) me back in the groove... which is a groovy place, really.
One tool that's helped a lot: doing the food log at the start of each day, which means planning what I'm going to eat, which helps keep temptations at bay. It obviously doesn't prevent me from cheating, particularly of late, but it has been helpful most of the time.

ok made it through the party fine and stayed within my limit. and ate dinner at applebees too. no desert though cause I had a very small peice of birthday cake. I am feeling good about my self even though those self sabotage thoughts are playing rampid through my brain. You didn't have your slim a bear or youll be alright if you have a sliver more of that super sub from this afternoon. But Nope I'm gonna get my four year old bathed and lock us in the bed room for the night. cause that leftover stuff is calling me saying come on you have a feww points to spare. I say shut up food. My daughter is having a sleep over with two of her friends and as long as they don't keep me up all night I'll wake up clean tomorrow.
