Ok, there seems to be a mysterious condition going around that is causing sabotage to our eating. I know I'm not alone here when I admit that my eating this past little while leaves a lot to be desired, causing slight weight gain after such hard work to lose it.

I also know, that I am the same person who was practically flawless in my eating for like almost 90 days straight, so I know I can get ahold of this - who's with me?? 

There is no deadline for sign-ups, anyone can join at any time!!

All you have to do is check in once a week (at least) & let us know how you're doing. If/when you "cheat", simply let us know & I will restart your start date.

A cheat is defined as whatever a cheat would mean to you personally, whether it be going over your calories, bingeing, not eating enough, too many treats, etc. We all know when we've cheated, so just be honest with yourself

Let's be honest with each other & keep each other eating clean k? The PRIZE to the winner? Well that's easy - weight loss!!!!!!!!! (or maintenance for those at that stage!) Let's do this!

If you lose your mind & cheat, just let me know. Then you can re-start from the next day. I'll simply unbold your name, along with updating your new start date.

After being clean for a week after a re-start, I'll re-bold your name. So you always have a chance to feel like you are succeeding. 

Also, if you just don't feel like you want to partake in the challenge anymore, can you let me know so I can remove your name from the list? Thanks!!

Anyone not checking in for one week (December 25 - December 31) will be removed from the challenge.

still going strong!
I am doing good with no binging, but had Ben & Jerry's tonight, just one cup...but still I need a start over...this is really pathetic, only 4 days...but it's 7 with no binging so that's good.  Thanks.
i'm brand new, can i join in? start date tomorrow. i just joined the site yesterday and have not gotten within my suggested calorie range yet.

buhri - i work at a co-op and compared all the different non dairy milks and found low fat vanilla almond milk is better nutritionally than the others, including soy milk. for one thing, the type of soy products on the market are not very good for you (SO over processed and yucky). almond milk has less carbs, calories and fat and i think more protein than others (rice, hemp, soy, etc). i drink a smoothie every day for lunch they are so delicious!

Hey everybody, still hanging in there.

jello - I have tried almond milk and I do like it (thought I like chocolate more) but it, like every kind of lactose-free milk, always starts to taste bland after awhile and I have to switch to a new brand and once that one stops tasting good I move onto a different brand. I'm on a Light Silk Soy kick right now. But I never drink a glass alone because I hate drinking away my calories. I put the chocolate into strawberry/raspberry smooties and I use the plain for my cereal. =)

Anyway, I'm still doing well. I'm fretting a little over my beach trip starting tomorrow for multiple reasons. The biggest one right now being the hotel, they just can't seem to get what I told them right, I went through hotels.com on the phone... Oy, bad idea. Number of guests was wrong and my name was wrong Erianna. Name wasn't a big deal but number of guests was because, I have never been the one to book a hotel room and I don't know if that will matter or not. I informed them of it and it's still not changed. Though they did fix my name. =)
Also I'm scared about the foods we'll eat and what we might drink. Oh well, we'll be walking a lot to save with gas so I figure it'll be alright.

Ok, I need a restart. I've been sick all weekend and, for some reason, that seems to make me eat more. Restart me with tomorrow's date, please, August 20.

staying clean and staying right at my calorie intake EVEN working at 4:00am :) woohooo!
still clean even though My head is telling me " you need to drop your calories more? " I hate the game in the brain. I keep saying if I eat only veggies or lettuce and fruits I will break through this platue or what ever it is it I seem to be stuck at. But when push comes to shoveI love the fact that I am loosing and eating. Why do we torture our selves.?
so today i at about 950cals. i didnt mean to. and when i realized it it was wayy to late to eat. so i was wondering.. how fast does your body go into starvation made?

I want to join!!! This challenge is exactly what I need! Giving myself some competition will make this so much easier for me!! :)

Question though: Usually if I make my workout every day for the week I like to allow myself one "treat" as a reward- nothing over the top but something that I definitely would consider cheating on any other day. Can I still do this without having to start over each week??

 

alison5 - I think it takes some time for your body to go into starvation mode. If you only had 950 calories today but normally eat more than that, then you should be okay. Just make sure that you eat your recommended amount tomorrow and your body should be fine.

hi angel, i thing you can still enjoy your reward without starting over every weeek - "cheating" is whatever you classify as such.  am i right?
woah im checking in! im soo exicted i didnt stay at 137. im 133.8 now yay okay well BYE
As much as I hate to say it, I need to be restarted. Definently overate, didn't exercise as much as I needed. Minor setback for one night, but I'm out with my friends at the beach and it's nice to just let loose. =)

Still clean and its amazing!! just taking it a dat at a time! Started school yesterday and was a little overwhelmed  came home extremeley tired and with a soar neck still hurts this morning. But I ate well AND stayed within my calorie limit. This should get interesting for me as one of the classes I am taking is human nutrition and I already got refreshed in what I thought I knew and a bunch I didn't! KOOLBEANS!!
can I rejoin a really need a kick start again so starting today Im clean eating thanx
