I'd love to join if you'll have me! I'm 5'7" and currently about 183/184. I started out around 240, so I've come a long way, but I still would like to lose about 30 more pounds- and it is starting to get much harder!

my info: i'm 21, entering my 3rd year of grad school, and I love raw fruits and veggies but I hate exercising. Wellllll I don't mind it, but it's too damn hot right now.... haha :-p
What are you doing to lose the weight?
My family history includes heart disease and stroke and all that bad crap. I want to stay healthy ( I mean, I know I am fat, but I can still breathe for christ sake). And I have been talking more about how much I want to be mini. I feel like I am so much smaller than I look. And it's about time that I look how I feel. Now is a great time.
Don't push yourself too hard! I also am a full time student, however, not in the summer :P. I do not know how people can both work and do school full time at the same time. I do an internship during the summer and full time student during the year but do not mix the two :P.
Im sure you will find the time to fit in some excersing! Stay motivated, I know how fleeting that feeling can be at times :/

I have been hovering in the 180s all year, despite excersicing regularly and generally eating well, the weight hasnt really shifted much. Have started a new programme in the gym this week, and am determined to lose some weight this time. In am 5'6", 27years old, and currently 181.
Anyone with top tips - i'd be delighted to hear them!
I'm 5'1" and weigh around 170, just gained 5 pounds again in 6 months. Gotta get my butt in gear and stop gaining. Need to lose 40-50, 50 lbs would be a healthy weight. I used to be 105 before kids and car.

Have been stuck at 181 for well over a couple of weeks despite trying the new excercise routine and generally eating well.

Anyways, I bought a Weight Watchers scale this weekend. It keeps track of my starting, current, goal and how much i have lost and have to go. A little better than my old dial scale.
I went home this weekend to see my dad for father's day. Home is about 2 hours away. Because gas prices are really bad, my husband and I decided to take the motorcycle. We spent under $10 on gas (round trip) but we are really sore. And I went over my calorie intake a couple hundred, but I knew that I would.
Aside from eating more on Sunday, I have been eating pretty good. I find that I don't eat enough alot of the time (even before cc). Some days less than 1000. My big problem is when school starts up again, next week, that I will not be eating enough and drinking alot of stuff instead. I go to school from 8-230 Mon-Fri and work from 2:30 til 4:30 and then from 5 til nine or ten. I am very busy when school comes around because I pay for everyhting myself. It's incredibly hard for me to pack my lunch everyday and find time for exercise. Because I still have to do homework and projects and all that crap. And my husband needs to eat too. He's lean and active, so I worry more about him being hungry than me.

I'm also wondering where the group discussion should be.
I've been logging my food and "exercise" daily. I really have not been eating well or exercising much. Next week I'll be biking to work, but I'm off Monday and Tuesday so I need to find a place to take the family for a nice hike.
I lost this page as well :P Not real sure what we should be doing for our discussion either.
Last week was not a pleasant week, stayed even at 193.6 almost the entire week. (I weigh myself daily). Changed my workout routine from elliptical all the time to alternating days of
30min swim/30min bike and 45 min treadmill.
Seemed to kickstart me, now ive started downwards again to 192.2.
I wish I could ride to work :/. Its just too far away for me and it would be some exercise. Stay motivated!! Drinking is an issue at school, but hey, go for those low cal drinks! I tried those mikes hard lemonade lights, they are nice :P Dont feel bad for writing too much!
