im cerious about what size clothes everyone wears. i know what i weigh and what some of my friends weigh and, even thou i weigh the same or less then my friend doesnt mean my clothes sizes are smaller.
soo i wear like and XL in pants and shirts. but i want to know how tall everyone is, how much u weigh and what size shirt pants(like s,m,l,xl size in like sweats and what not) adn also what jean size you wear from what companys. i am super interested in this so please help me out.
I'm 5'8", 135 lbs.
I usually wear a size small shirt and every once and awhile a size medium.
In jeans, I am usually a size 6 or size 29. My biggest problem with jeans is my waist is very small in comparison to my thighs. So all of my pants are too big in the waist but fit in the thighs! The joys of being pear-shaped :/
Size 13 in nearly all types of pants (although 12 when I wear misses, isn't it supposed to be 11/12, 13/14 etc????).
Medium in shirts
My friend is also 5'4, 140lbs and she wears a size 8! AND she also has a big booty!
I don't get sizes at all. Most people think I am a size 6 or 8 by looking at me but NOPE! Size 13 and it hasn't budged in 20 lbs lost.... (belt sizes have definately changed though)...
Guess people are just different. =)
5'2 (158cm), 95lbs (43kg) (but wrong upper/lower body ratio),I wear a german XS, sometimes even XXS in shirts but a M (sometimes S) in trousers.
So in trousers I'm somwhere between 6 and 8 american sizing but in shirt like 2 or even 0 in american sizes (is there something like 0 in shirts in america?)
5'5", 100 pounds, 0-5 in jeans (brands differ SOOO much), XS-M in shirts, and i have no idea what my dress size is.

I was 235, 5'7", wore a size 22 jeans (JC Penney brand). Got down to 214, wore size 20 jeans.
I am now 173, wearing size 12 Gap & Old Navy jeans.
As far as tops, I'm "busty", wore 2-3x at 235, mostly 2x at 214. Now it really depends on the cut of the shirt. I shop mostly at Cato for tops (very much like Fashion Bug) and just got shirts from both sides of the store. Some 16Ws, some XL misses.
I'm 5' 4" and weigh 128 lbs. I have jeans that I wear in sizes 6 to 8, and a 10 and they all fit OK. It would be nice if ALL clothing manufacturers would make sizes all the same measurements!....gee, what a concept....
5'6" and just under 200lbs... I'm small-busted and large-stomached, so I wear 16/18/XL edging down into a Large in some items (size 14 skirts fit beautifully if they have elastic waists, and a 'loose-cut' size 14 top is just right for me but not loose!).
I'm 5'5 1/2", 120lbs, a 4-6 in pants and an XS or XXS on top. No chest.
I'm 5'7.5 At 150: Size 13 jeans, large shirts (primarily for the length), medium sweatpants
Then at 120 I wore size 7 jeans, small shirts, and the same medium sweat pants.
I cannot wait until the day when my ass the thighs decide to dissapear so I can look proportionate.
5' 3.5", 133 (should be 128), sz 8 in pants, 10/M in tops, sz 6 short in Levi Strauss Signature jeans (my fav). I'm small boned -wrist 5.5", shoe also 5.5, ring sz is 5.
I have clothes that fit in sizes 6-10. IT's frustrating that clothing sizes are not consistant. We ladies get so obsessed with numbers! (guilty) I'm trying to forget numbers and focus of how I look and feel!
- 5'2" about 130
- I wear a size 4 petite in misses pants/jeans/skirts
- 6 petite in womens
- 7 or 9 in juniors ( sometimes 11) usually have to get them altered because they are too long
- small-medium shirts in womens/misses
- medium-large shirt in juniors. ( sometimes small if there are no buttons or tight sleeves.)
- wear either a size 6-8 dress, sometimes 4 if the cut is just right
I am 5'7", 153 lbs.
In pants, I usually wear a 4-6 from Gap, Banana Republic or Ann Taylor, depending on the cut. If I shop at American Eagle- I usually get an 6 or an 8... but that is mostly because the rise is SO low. If I wear sweatpants, its usually a medium, although I feel like I should get some that are smalls, because my mediums are starting to be too baggy.
Tops are really hard for me. I have really broad shoulders and a long torso. Usually I wear a medium, but I have to be really picky with what I buy, especially in length. If I buy a fitted shirt, it is almost always an 8, mostly because of my shoulders and my bust.
Dresses, I usually get an 8, because of shoulders and bust.
I'm 5'3", 155lb
I have a long toroso too so right now I'm more comfortable in the sz L ones even if they are too big.. rather that then too clingy and every little roll I'm working on staring at you or worse, the shirt riding up! Sweats and pj type pants I'm in a medium... new ones are a 32-34 waist. Jeans I'm in a sz 8 now.

some people aim for muffin tops..I swear.
I hear you. People, there is no shame in going a size up if IT FITS. Muffin tops make you look fatter regardless of what your size is.
I'm 5'7.5" 168-170lbs and I wear an 8 in dress pants, 30 in jeans and a medium in tops. I have a super long torso too, sometimes I'll go to a L top so that it's longer.
Sizes really have nothing to do with REAL measurement...Dont count on the size for your confidence and certainly dont use it as a measurement for self punishment. The garment/fashion industry changes sizes all the time in order to entice sales; this is exactly why certain labels feel loose and others feel tight for the same size. In other word, a brand might size XXS for a waist measurement of 24 inches and others will size the same waist measurement as a SM. We are easily enticed to buy more if we are happy with the fit and size label.
