5'5'' club. what is the best/ideal/dream weight?anyone?
i would not concentrate on weight or restricting. avoiding sugery/processed foods is good. you might be holding on to water weight, if you have a high sodium intake (something i personally struggle with more than sweets) try drinking more water and see if that helps.
I'm 25 with a medium frame. My ultimate dream weight is 110lbs, but 120 lbs would be good enough for me.
jaejoong, even though you are controlling your food, have you actually counted your calories? cuz you'll lose weight only when your calorie intake is less than your calorie consumption, which means you won't see any weight loss if you eat too much of anything-including healthy food.

i'm taking about 1200-1400 cal. but it seems that i didn't work for me...but i've read somewhere that taking less than 1200cal is not good for your metabolism.
my lightest weight is 116lbs which is december last year. i got that weight (from 124 lb) in just 2 month due to stress that i'm having college exam. actually, at that time i didn't even dieting. when i realize that i was 116lb at that time, i got excited. then i started to enjoy foods to the fullest. the result is....i gained 7 pounds, which is me right now.
did anybody confuse with my story?hehe...here's the summary:
oct 2006: 124lb
dec 2006: 116lb without dieting. because having stress
happy that i've lost weight..BUT..
april 2007: 122-123 lb. i'm shocked!
diet 1400-1500cal
june 2007: 121-122lb.
diet 1200-1400 cal
now, sept 2007: 120-122lb
Hi, I am a 36 yr old female, 5'5" (and I like to add a 1/2 to that!)
When I was in my 20's I hovered around 110-115. I was extremely happy with that. Over the last couple of years I have gained alot of weight very quickly and I dont understand why. Now, I WISH I were 115! I am currently at 170 and it is killing me. I have a target weight now of about 130-140.
I sure could use some support and guidance, I have never been one to diet or watch my food intake or even exercise. So i am starting now!

I have the same measurements as Jaejoonglove but I'm 125 trying to be 110. I just joined this forum yesterday so hopefully with my new passion for calorie counting and some exercise I can see some results soon.

Anyway, I enjoyed being 115-117 (small framed as well), but I don't think I want to get back there again. I enjoy the curves that I have now, I would enjoy them more at 135-140 lbs. I am 32 and I feel like without my curves I look like a little kid - I have a very young face!
For you though the 110 would probably look fine (and feel great too!)

Its your decision but I think you'll be a little too thin. When I was 106 about 5 years ago everyone thought I had an ED. I bet you look amazing at 110, I wish I was your weight! ![]()

I am extra motivated to lose weight since I'm going to be a bridesmaid for a gal pal. All of us are Asian. This is how we grew up.... All these girls would fight over the extra smalls on the clearance rack, while I twiddled my thumbs and prayed for the earth to swallow me whole.
Any hoo, I love CC, I have lost about 40 pounds since February. My goal weight is currently 140lbs but I can defintely pinch several extra inches so it is nice to see a 5'5" club where I can re-evaluate my weight goal.
I reallyyyyy wanna get to 110-115 but that'll never happen lol.
I have too much muscle and I've tried to get rid of some and some fat. The lowest I got when I was anorexic was 114 believe it or not. Its funny because I have a small bone structure. Why did dad have to inherit his mucles on his side to me? lol

I'm currently between 118-123 too! My ideal weight is 110-112; so close, but losing so slooooooowly. It seems that a lot of us have the same goals! I try to exercise 4-5ish times per week and it seems to be helping, along with counting my cals. I'm so glad I found this post!

emd258511: yeay! you're closed to me. well, you know, muscular body is better than flabby. toned body is always amazing. i think you look great with 122 since you're muscular. muscles can make you heavier than you look. don't you think so? maybe you look only 115? cause those muscle that makes you to 122?
my arms are quite muscular and toned with less fat, but not my lower body. gah....those big thighs!!

mesmilin4u: 108 is the minimal weight for 5'5''. so i think 110 should be o.k for you (and me).
