I would love to join and need some help and getting started as far as what weight loss plan will work for me.. Right now I am 175 :( Very depressing or even more, but i am willing & determined if someonecan point me in the right direction on getting started
lovebaw1 - You're very welcome to join. We would love to have you. I understand how depressing it can be to be overweight. Just remember, each day is a new day to make a change for life. :-) The first thing to do is to decide how to eat healthy and stay in your calorie range (use the tools on CC to determine what your caloric intake should be and to help you find some good foods to eat).
safina1 - Yeah, feel free to send it on Monday.
Everyone - If your current weight for December needs to be changed, let me know. I tried to get everyone on the list, but I do make mistakes. Just post a message and let me know to change your current weight so that it's correct.
Good luck everyone! Last month we lost a total of 42 lbs. Let's set our group goal to lose 58 lbs this month, just for a rough guess. If we do that, we'll have lost 100 lbs as a group in only 2 months!

I have been hovering around 150 for way to long. I want to get back down to 115-120 again....eventually I am thinking about 20 weeks to lose 30 lbs. Slow and steady keeps it off. Thirty pounds snuck on and I really would love for them to sneak away.....

Stats....145/120....reached this goal 2 weeks back...have been maintaining since then...
I'm not sure if I need to lose a couple of pounds more or just stick with this...any general ideas to help me determine this?..i wont want to lose more than 2 - 3 pounds although

My work is done on computers, so I'm pretty much sitting on my butt ALL DAY LONG.
A month ago I started P90X, but haven't stuck to any kind of diet. Since then I've gained 5 lbs. I'm sure it's muscle but my clothes aren't fitting any better. It's time to bring that # back down. New Years is my motivation. Hope this helps!

I bought new scales, yay! So I actually have accurate measurements. Unfortunately they don't stop you retaining water...
12/7/07 - 171 Lost 3 lbs. Woohoo!!! That makes up for not losing any last week!!!

- Determine the projected target date (see under Overall in the figure above)
