It helps to see that others are in the same boat...chugging along and slowly losing!

Does anybody else find it hard to justify your eating and workout habits because they think you don't have anything to lose?
definitely!  i don't tell anyone about my weight goals... all i hear if i talk about it, is "what?? why do you want to lose weight?? you are crazy"  - i want to say, "because i had to look at my jiggly thighs in the shower today, you didn't"  ha!  so, i'd rather just keep it to myself, you know?
I actually had an eating disorder, when I got back on track I developed a binge eating disorder, now I am almost kinda normal, but still not back to the weight I am comfortable with.  So often I get people asking me the same question.  For me its more about getting healthy and strong again, It would also be good if it were toned and shapely!

Okay this is depressing, but I gained a pound this week (muscle I hope, ehh).  On the good side I was able to wear a shirt that I haven't worn since this summer because I looked to flubby in it.  Anyways

Hi!  I joined last week, but then was really sick and wasn't around CC... Sorry I didn't update yesterday... my weight is 132lbs.  My gw is 115lbs.  Thanks for making the chart liz.

My weight is 136 and my goal is about 120 (More or less... I can't remember being there and I don't ever think I have been at this height! I'll figure it out)

So I'm up for the challenge  if I could still join. every Wednesday?!

So I posted a little bit ago that I was stuck at a plateau of aroun 138.0-137.6 for the past month or so and I was getting really frustrated. I've been working out every day burning 7-800 calories and eating about 1650 a day.

So I took a day off the gym yesterday because I have 3 exams this weekend and I had to study up. I got up this morning, weighed myself, and I was at 137.0!!!! FINALLY!

Anyway just a quick update. Maybe I should take a break once a week to give my body and muscles a bit of a break.
Cool, you got it, everything in moderation, even working out.  I am glad for you.

can someone explaine to me how it works? when are the weight in, who can do it.. and everything else there is to know?  I would love to participate.

Can I join? I'm new to this site, and by joining I think it's the perfect way to hold myself accountable for my bad eating habits.

I am currently 133/132 but I'd like to get down to 120. I exercise frequently (4-6 days a week) and I eat healthily most of the time but haven't been able to curb my cravings for sweets and carbs. I'd love to join and offer support to everyone! Thanks!
Anyone can join.  This thread was started for those wanting to be in the 120/130 range.

For those that want to, we have weigh-in every Wednesday.  We started tracking from 1/31 on.  If you joined later, that would be your starting day.  I volunteered to keep a chart of everyone's progress that I post on Thursdays after the Wednesday weigh-in.  Look for a earlier post on this thread to see how this chart looks.  Basically, I need goal and current weight on the Wednesday you join and then every Wednesday after that.
