I'm about 135 looking to get down to 120-125 which is my normal weight. I was on depression meds that caused me to gain weight no matter if I ate or starved myself. I am finally off those and have managed to lose about 7 pounds but just can't seem to get under 130. The lowest I've been able to get is 130. Eating at night is my biggest problem. I am not hungry during the day, only at night!
My weigh in (didn't do it yesterday) is 133.4. Not so happy about that, especially since it's not just a numbers thing, I can actually feel and see a difference.
Hi Ladies ? I?d like to join. I started really trying to lose weight last January (2006) for my June wedding. Started at 132 (you can see the bloat in my face in the engagement pics) and ended up getting down to 116 for the big day (pics turned out fabulous!). I felt great and got tons of compliments. But since my June wedding, I have been less disciplined (especially during the holidays). Though not nearly as strict as I was pre-wedding, I?ve done a fair job of eating right and exercising ? better than anyone else I know does, but I?m back up to fluctuating between 122 & 123. My goal weight is 116 again and we have a vacation planned for March 24 that I?d like to lose for.
Lately I?ve been wondering ? is this really worth it? I feel like I am constantly thinking about my weight, and if I eat something good like pizza, cookies, cake, etc or go out to a nice dinner with my husband ? all I feel is remorse and guilt afterwards and get so frustrated with myself for having to look at the same number (or higher) on the scale every day. Even if I get my weight down, I?m not sure if I can ever actually maintain a 116 weight ? and is that 6 or 7 extra pounds really worth the on-going battle? I?m sure some of you struggle with this ? what are your thoughts?

No, but I wish! I've actually gained weight since the last time. 1.4 lbs since I started, to be exact. :-(

I would like to join the club. I am at 134 and wish to be at 127. I am having major problems getting the weight to come off. I eat between 1200-1300 calories a day and am 5'4". I think I might have portion issues but still trying to determine.
Just a note to those wishing to be part of the weekly weigh-in. If you weigh in EVERY Wednesday and give me your goal weight, I can add you to the chart. During the week weigh-ins don't count. If you just want to weigh in for its own merit, feel free to do so. If you did not consistently register on Wednesdays, I will take you off the chart. Because this is not a wordprocessing program, the chart is not easily reproduced in here, but I am doing my best.

Hey everyone...I am looking for some advice, insights and/or support. Here's the deal...I am 21, about 5'6"and weigh about 135. I would like to be coser to 125. I was 125 this time of year last year and I miss it. Although I do wear a size 4 or a 6, and I know that's not bad, I have some of my fave. jeans that I can't fit into anymore and its depressing. I am not really sure how I gained the weight, but I do know that I am having the hardest time dropping it. I've been trying for about six months or so, just by working out. Then, I found Calorie-Count. So, for the past two months I've been working out about 4-5 days a week (cardio and weights) and eating around 1500 calories a day (my grade since I've started is an A-). With all of this, I have lost only two pounds. Is this normal. I've totally changed my diet and habbits and I feel like it should happen faster than this.
henk0073- I know how you feel. I'm 21, 5'6" and weigh about 129 I've been exircising as regularly as I can for several months, and counting calories at least 2 months. I strive for about 1500 a day and since all of this I've probably only lost about a pound. BUT don't give up! I keep telling myself that it takes a long time to gain weight, and when you only have to lose a few pounds, it takes even longer. Also, since you've been working out you could be heavier from building muscle (another thing I tell myself). It does get discouraging sometimes when I feel like I work so hard and I'm not seeing results. But I do feel healthier and proud of myself for eating right. And imagine if you weren't counting? In the past few months you could have gained weight instead of maintained or lost only a little. Keep up the good work! :)

I'm disappointed in myself. I'm back to where I started and it's because I've been eating icecream every night. Usually my guilt keeps me in line, but lately I just haven't felt any. Hi all! Up , Down, Up again. I started right after having the flu. That was my lowest weight so far. I feel like I'll never get back down. I'm not giving up. I'm gonna really try not to have a gain next week. I believe if I'm good over the weekend it will truly help. The pizza and ice cream on the weekend do me in ever time.

I'm glad that I have this "support group" of individuals who struggle with the same things I do. When I read what everyone writes I always think "yeah.... I know how that feels". This sounds so corny, but even when it doesn't feel good to be not losing, it feels good to be part of a group, and we all have our good and bad days.

Im so excited the last time i was at this weight it was for very unhealthy reasons. it feels so good to be in controll of my own weight! I'm in such a great mood today!
