I never found my twin but I thought that other people at a similar height could exchange tips and information.
I am 5' 2" and 116 lbs with a goal of 100 lbs because I have a very small frame and I am only 15 years old.
I am setting a goal to lose 10 lbs by Monday August 27.
Anyone is welcome to join.
PS- Anyone below 5' 0" is welcome as well or if you are just slightly above 5' 2".

I'm in, shorelover. I'm 4'11" and 15 years old.
I'm just starting off and I think this is a great idea of yours. I like the twins idea too but I really couldn't find anyone near my stats.
I really don't have a goal as such. I don't wanna go by the numbers on the scale, so my "goal" is actually visual results. I guess my goal is reducing my waistline by two inches.
How long have you been at this weight loss thing? Has it worked for you?

I'm 5'1 and weigh a whopping 150 pounds. My goal weight is 110-115 pounds. I'd love to reach my goal by January 2008.

Oo, I wanna play! I'm 5 foot nothing and right now 135. Used to be 180 5 years ago, and have been going up and down between 130 and 140 ever since losing the first lot. I'd like to be 115! Lol. My lowest weight was 126 just before my wedding, and I still had belly fat then so grr! 115 it is then.
I'm four days back on the bandwagon, going on 176 days (I guess... at a pound a week or so)

O yeah I have a largish (wide, that is! not tall!) frame and am fairly muscular from lots and lots of bicycling :)

I'm 5'2" at 142, started at 155 at the beginning of june, trying to get to a muscular 125-115. I'm basing more on how i'll look and feel than the number, but definetely somewhere in that range.
I think it's great to have other's around the same to talk to and help out.

5'2" here! Curently 144 (though I just started my period and bloated up to 147 about a week ago), started at roughly 164 in March. Looking to be about 130 give or take. I don't have a rail thin build, currently 36-28-37 and I'd like to keep my proportions! I was always around 127, and very happy, until about 2 years ago. I'd love to keep up with how other "shorties" are doing!! :) I am more into how my clothing fits then what the scale says. As long as my measurements are going down (or at least not going up!), I dont care if the scale is at a halt...which is has been for a while! :)

Started at 164 lbs. in January, was down to 140-142 in April... hit a slump (combination of finals/sleep deprivation/lack of motivation/summer slacking) and am now back up to 152, but I'm feeling positive and motivated again. I'm ready to get back to losing!!
My overall goal is to reach 115-120 lbs., and maintain, hopefully by January 2008. Right now, I'm working toward a smaller goal, and that is to be back to 140 by September 6th... my 20th birthday/the beginning of Fall semester :D

Hi everyone i'm knew just filled in my form. Started last year at 182lbs and got down to 140lbs but have put some back on. Have been going to weight watchers but since i started a new job in October sat at a desk have put the extra back on. I am 5' 2" and weigh 154lbs goal weight 123lbs by 19 February - have a family wedding next June so should be nice and slim by then hopefully.
I have been going to the gym on the treadmill and recliner bike and also walk my dog and have an allotment (so eating healthy should be pretty easy with all the homegrown veggies!).
I think it will be nice to talk to people with the same difficulties although i maybe a little older than most of you cough cough - 50! am i still welcome?

I am 5' 2" and currently at 112. I topped out at 122 after gaining 20 lbs. in a year (I had totally stopped exercising and was hitting the bars more frequently). I would at least like to get back to my starting weight of 102, but with my very small frame, losing a few more than that would not be unhealthy.
Alright, I'm in. 5'1'' and a half!! I'm currently 124lbs and my highest wieght was around one year ago when I topped out at 137lbs. I started boxing and got down to 116lbs which was a good weight, but the way I got there was not healthy. I want to be healthy and for me according to my BMI and the way I look and feel I'm thinking 114lbs. I'm getting married this October and decided to train for next years twin cities marathon to help me stick to my goal. I've never been a runner, so it's tough, but exciting! I want to maintain my weight at 114 after the wedding too. I love a challenge... so here we go!

i'm 5.0 at 98 pounds right now and still looking chubby:) i was 114 in may, and my goal was 100 till september, the stupid calculator said that it is impossible for me to do it the healthy way, but you know what, it only takes a change in lifestyle to do everything healthy. so never give up:) everything is possible:)

Question for you guys: what sort of calorie intake are you guys aiming for? Being a small person with a tiny frame, I'm skeptical about the guidelines this site is telling me to follow (i.e. 1400 cals to get to my goal weight by November)

5'1.5" and 111 lbs down from 129 lbs in February. 33 years old. At 111 lbs I am still flabby so feel bloated and overweight a lot. I think with 5 lbs more lost I will feel better. Love being small and looking to get even smaller at 105 lbs as my goal.

so for some of you guys, if ur desiring a flat stomach and is already kinda slim, you may not seem much a difference there...

i'M 20 years old, 5'2 134 POUNDS. I came back from college this year at 143 after reaching a lifetime high of 148. I've been using cc for almost a month, and i've also been working out 5-6 times a week... BUT.. i still have 14 more pounds to go! My goal weight is 120 by the end of November! My goal by the end of August is 129 so hopefully I'll be able to do it!

Thank you all for joining. I apologize for not getting back to you all sooner. I have had an extremely busy week.
Actually though, I think that being busy is helping me lose weight. I weighed myself this morning and I was 115.5. I am only down 0.5 lb, but I have only been a few days.
I think that taking a more relaxed approch to weight loss is much easier than stressing over what you can and cannot eat. I have found allowing myself to eat whatever foods I want as long as I do not eat too much is the easiest way. I also keep a food journal and before I go to bed each night, I write down everything I have eaten put a star next to any "extras" or foods that I ate that I did not really need to eat because I was not truly hungry. This website also has a great system for counting calories.
Calorie-wise, I aim for about 1500- 1600. This may sound like a lot, but I am generally very active.
