 It ain't easy being short with the expectations for girls' bodies these days! 

11.9.07 Friday Weigh:

Age:  33

Start Weight:  150

Current Weight:  132.1875

Goal Weight:  125

I've been hungrier than usual lately.  Does the cold weather have anything to do with that?  UGH!  It's driving me crazy.  All I want to do is eat, eat, eat.  I've been going over 1300 calories by at least 100 or so every day.  And I haven't been exercising, either.  It's my own darn fault for only losing 1/4 of a pound this week.

I want to at least lose 6 pounds by December 1st.  Think its possible?  This Halloween candy and Thanksgiving coming up could make it hard.  My motto:  eat in moderation.  You can't give up the "fun" food completely, just eat it, count it, and don't over indulge.

Got ya added. :-)  I honestly think it's entirely possible to lose 6 lbs. by Dec. 1st.  I want to lose 10 by Dec. 1st. 

I have monthly goals I set myself and since this is the first month for me and you usually lose the most weight when you first start, I figured that 10lbs. this month and then a little less each month afterwards should be about right.

Hopefully I'll be able to stick to it, but being active in the forums and having the accountability will help me, so that's why I decided to create this group.  I really have to be accountable now! :-)

Woot, I am in! I just started upping my calories since I have been struggling with a trend of starvation and binging. Luckily I found CC, and now that is over! My goal is to get down to 120 by Christmas. However, I am currently in China and the lack of nutrition info and a gym is making me think I might need to change that. My main goal is to improve this really warped body image I have, learn to love myself and be happy. My goal is to get to 120 pounds and up my calories to 1500-1800 a day. From then on I want to keep my weight between 120-125 lbs. I think the range will be much easier to maintain and help me feel better than if I just stick to one number. Anyways, feel free to add me as a friend and message me!

I just started this week! I did a diet like this before, but I am hoping to do it healthier this time and not lose too much too fast, so as long as I keep losing steadily, I am not going to push myself too hard.

Edit: I just noticed I don't have that much weight to lose (as in not more than 10 lbs, but hey, the last bit is the hardest...) so I don't know if I would count in or not? just thinking.

H. 5'3" Age 41

Starting weight in August 07 maxed out at 245lb.

Started CC Oct 23 07 at 230lb.  Just loving the logging at CC.

Current weight Nov 3 07 is 226lb.

Goal (according to CC is 127 which I think is way too little - large frame) but I'll plug away at it and see when I get under 150lb.

I am feeling this is very sustainable.  I'm loving the challenge of increasing my fitness.  I want to ski this winter.  I'm now on the treadmill 40 minutes and increasing speed to near running at times.  Also doing circut training for ski fit specifics.  Also, now that I am logging carefully my calories I seem to be able to control this quite well.  I'm just trying to eat very sensibly but calories seem to be dropping off to under 1300.... adding more back to get that up.  I don't want to loose to fast, supposed to be dangerous although I'd love to look better for the company Christmas party Dec 5th.

Maintaining/gaining to make sure I get my period. Does anybody else who's 5'3" know the weight at which they stop/start getting their period? I got mine at 110-111, but haven't for a few months now, and am trying to get it back with the help of my nutritionist. It's really helpful to see so many people with good, healthy goal weights instead of shooting for extreme thinness. It's a message I (and many others) need to get into my head.
