140/130 club

Anyone in this grouping looking to drop from 140 to 130's.  We can all use support.  Today I am focusing on all the food groups.  Exercise would be good, but I won't be able to since I am working from 9 to 10:30.  A Super long day.  I hope I can stay focused, when I pass the fast food chaines on my travels today.

good morning everyone!!!  everyone was busy posting this morning or last night.  It is  nice to hop on line and see what everyone is doing and to ask questions.

had a great workout, first one in about 5 days.  Did eliptical for 20, abs - 150 reps, then an old Billy Banks tape, felt so good.

I like raisins and sunflower seeds on my salads for the crunch.
great job on the workout! It's always nice to get in a good one!
sr - you are so right, makes you feel so much better...... especially after the WINGS yesterday!!!!!
so, im not trying to be a downer BUT, i would just like to rant for a minute. I have gone from 199 to 139 over the past year.... the whole time i never ever thought it was possible to get as far as i have. I am excited BUT aggrevated at the same time. I am very active with excercising and about logging every morsel that goes in my mouth... and i still have a  muffin top belly... unable, Still, to wear a bikini. at 199 i thought 150 would be good since im 5'7, then i thought maybe it will go away at 140.. but alas, still here and going strong.... my ultimate goal, now seeming achievable was 135. thats only 4 pounds away and im pretty certain the belly will still be here.... how low do i have to go for IT to go.... my best friend.... same height, same weight... completely flat stomach. why does my body type suck! haha ok im done. thanks. 
rant at you want!!! I do believe that is what we are here for.  I also have the belly, but it is slowly but surely going away.  I do alot of abs every night - and have seen an improvement over the last 2 months.
I had the same belly problem, all the weight I gained was between my ribs and my knees... I am also 5'7 and I know what you mean! My belly has slowly, but surely been getting a little flatter... I just make sure to do ab exercises and a lot of cardio so my muscles I build will burn the fat around it!
same here.   I do both every night if I can.  except maybe the nights i play soccer, i skip the abs....... my bad

sorry to hear about the belly problem :( but i have a friend who lost a bunch of weight, and she still has a stomach.  and she's only like...110 pounds or something.  some people just genetically have one, and there's a good chance you won't be able to get rid of it with getting to less than like, 10% body fat (which isn't really healthy for non-body builders).  like me--i have big legs.  i always have and always will.  i am just hoping to reduce them enough, or get them toned enough that i don't mind so much.  same with my arms.

as for crunchy salad--i usually just have cucumber and carrot, and then i might add in iceberg or hearts of romaine cuz they're crunchy--usually my salads are all spinach (NOT crunchy) :)

and now i need to vent a little.  this month has been so off for me.  i've lost less than 1 lb according to my trend line, and i've had several occasions where either my dieting or exercising got thrown off.  dieting once because of my mom's bday and a concert in one week so ate out a lot, then last weekend cuz of st. patty's day and extra work, and then this weekend because of a trip to CA.  i think part of it is because i'm tired and it's rainy outside so i'm a little cranky, and i'm just frustrated.  usually this stuff doesn't bother me, but today it really is.  ugh.  i'm back to my high school size, which is great, but i wasn't happy with how i looked in high school, either.  i still have a few months before the summer, so i just hope that i'm able to get back on track next month and have just a good solid month without any serious interruptions.
I had been so frustrated lately because I wasn't seeming to loose weight again and on top of it I was p.m.s.-ing and felt bloated and wanted to eat morning to night. I woke up this morning and feel so much better (last day of p.m.s.-ing always drops like this for me) and weighed my self and I am now down to 145!! I must have been retaining water during the last week or some thing, because I have been on the same diet I have been on for the last couple months.

YEAH!!! 145!!!!
good job prd :) seeing the drop feels good. i did go down a half pound from yesterday, but i'm a half pound ABOVE where i was last wednesday.

kiigan, srd - i feel ya, seriously!!!! i'm 146 today. :(  i was 145 last week.  yes it's going down from yesterday, but it's not going down from where i last was and i'm off to new york on saturday!!  haha, kiigan, it's like we're switching places - you're flying west and i'm flying east!  funny, vcooper is on vaca next week too.  anyway, i'm super bummed 'cause i know i'm not going to gain progress next week and this week, the week i hoped to really make some movement turned out to be a flop!  GRRRRRR  i think i'm hitting a plateau as well srd. :(  at least we're hanging out on that plateau together - LOL!

damn, are we all in a bad mood this morning or what!?
Oh yeah vacation here I come........

plateau for about 8 days now.... may have budge alittle this morning was at 140.2 from 141.2 yesterday.  Worked my butt off last night.

going to try and be good on vacation...... but I so love those fruity drinks  : - ), tequila in Mexico..............
it's nice to know i'm not the only one bumming out this morning, though :)  at least we can wallow in our diet misery together, LOL :) (although really we should be trying to help each other out of it!)

so why dont' we just say screw March and work really hard in April.  that's what i'm gonna have to do.  i'll work hard when i get back, and i'll take my measurements at the end of the month, but i'm not going to get all bent out of shape. i think that's the only way for me to stay sane today :)
sounds like a good idea kiigan! I'll just plan on maybe getting to 138 by the end of the month and keep up with my diet and exercise while you guys are all out of town ;) and then set a new goal to get to 135 (or less!) by the end of April... Looks like I'll have to push my 130 goal date back a little bit. But, as long as I get there!!! We'll see what happens, I'll just stop banking on the scale to change and stick to my eating plans and exersice.... ugh....

my goal is also 135, its only 5 lbs and I think I can achieve this.  I made a deal with my self this morning - I am not going to look at the scale again for a week. 
v--i'm toying with the idea of the scale too, but i've always been an every day weigher so that could be hard :) if i really hit a plateau in april when i don't have all these setbacks, then I may need to take a break from the scale :)
to a better April, i'll drink to that!  wait, are there calories in that drink!? LOL!!
I'll drink to that!!!! only very very little calories, thats what I tell myself......
haha you all are sooo funny this morning,  sorry i cant blow of march though lol..  but i do hope for a better april :) i am hoping to hit 140 by the end of april :)

i am in a good mood this morning (sorry ya'll)  i hit 144.5 again this morning :) yay me...

and i cant put my scale away.. cant live without it lol...
