140/130 club

Anyone in this grouping looking to drop from 140 to 130's.  We can all use support.  Today I am focusing on all the food groups.  Exercise would be good, but I won't be able to since I am working from 9 to 10:30.  A Super long day.  I hope I can stay focused, when I pass the fast food chaines on my travels today.

down to 148 today guys... i've been eating 1200-1300 cals a day and working about for about 2.5 hours.... whew.

Well, I took a day or two off.  Point is I?m back.  I just felt like not doing anything.  So I did nothing.  I?m hoping to get my 45 min. in soon.  Better late than never.  Right?  Since I?ve lost 14 pounds sometimes I feel like I?m done.  But I?m not.  Got to get it back together because my goal is 130 or 125.  Oh God give me the strength to continue even though I feel great being what I weighed five years ago.  I?ve got to remind myself, I?M NOT DONE YET!
Phew, I totally wasn't up for working out after work today. BUT! I did it. 30 minutes on the elliptical, 15 minutes on the bike, and lifted leg weights. AND! I managed to get in a much-needed tanning session. Yay!

Tomorrow's my official weigh-in, as well as my, heh, cheat meal. What a coincidence...I'll let you know what the scale reveals tomorrow.

Welcome back, songchild. I've been feeling less motivated these past few days too, but I think we all need a breeeeeeeak.

Today, I was trying on my dresses for tomorrow's dinner, seeing whether or not I needed to buy a new one. They all look GREAT; I was pleasantly surprised. Sooo, I don't technically need to buy a new one, but...hee...maybe I will. Oh, and I tried on this skirt that has been in my closet for a while...yeah, haven't worn it since 8th grade, I think? Well, it fits. :D THAT was weird.

Why am I posting here, you may ask?  Because this morning I weighed in at 147.2!!!!  Woo hoo!  Gotta love the dramatic style in which this plateau broke.  I was 150.0 yesterday.  So I might go back up a little, but I don't think I'll be seeing the 150s again.  :)

So, I'm crashing the 130/140 club!  :)
Crash away pandajenn19 and welcome at 147.2, you are in the right place; say never again 150!   Right now I?m working hard at saying no to more food until latter when I?ll really need it.   I think it?s almost time for a nap that will keep me out of the kitchen.

Great job Liz! You are doing so well! Wow!!! You are such an inspiration to me. Now if only I can figure out the right balance of calories in and calories out for me to start seeing results...

I'm 5'10 and still weighing in at 140 for like almost a month, I started in late June and weighed in at 150. I still feel like I have alot of work that needs to be down. My goal is 130, but anything a bit under that.. I wont complain. :)
It's a new day, new week, new beginning.  I gained a pound but not surprised.  Some days, during the past two weeks, I have lacked motivation and the numbers have caught up to me.  Today, I did my 45 minutes and extra leg exercises.  Hope every one else is doing better than I am.   
I am new cc, but not to exercising and dieting.  I am 5'6" and had sat at 132 for years. Through 2 pregnancies I always came back to that weight.  Not My idea of perfect, but what is.  At my last doctor appointment I was 140, so now I am on a mission to drop the weight. 

I work at a health club and exercise as much as possible.  Unfortunately during the summer that is only about 3-4 days a week instead of the 5-6  I get when the kids are in school.   I am hoping to do a half marathon before  I hit 35 (I am 33 now) but that training has been put off due to my lack of motivation.

Since I started cc last week, my tummy feels flatter but  I haven't  weighed myself.  I am hoping to pull from your advice and support.  Thanks!

Keep it up!!! 3-4 days of exercise with a busy schedule is pretty good.  It sounds like you are really busy.
147.6 this am. next mini goal is 145. so close and yet so far.
Keep going allirenee, I just found out that I lost that nasty pound I gained a week ago or so.  I thought I had run out of motivation.  It's baaack!  My motivation that is. Big secret don't give up no matter what.
Monday I weighed myself and I was... wait for it, tuh duuuhhh!!

136.0lbs!!!!


A few months ago I felt so proud because it was the first time I had seen 140-something on the scale, and now I'm 130-something and it feels even better!

I even fitted into size 10 (UK) in Topshop!!



For those people who are feeling at all discouraged, or un-motivated, just, keep going. Love life and live everyday feeling you've done your best to be healthy, and the weight will come off too! I've had plenty of plateau's in my time (haha, I mean my weight loss time, I'm not like, 100 years old or anything...) and my most recent was so depressing, but I kept at it and here I am!

heyo all! i started out at 140 and am trying to get to 130, having lots of trouble getting past the 135 mark. not that 5 lbs is really a big deal. i'm 5'9" by the way. im mostly just trying to control binge eating and work out and be healthy!

Hi karenrevisited, 5 pounds is a big deal!  If I had worried about 5 pounds, 32 pounds ago, I wouldn't be having the trouble I'm having now.  I'm just wondering, given your height, are you sure 130 is your healthy weight? If so just keep at it if not enjoy your body while you eat healthy and work out. 

      
Yeah I recently discovered 130 is probably too low for my body. But I have been so focused on that number for the past few months so it's hard to let go. But I'm trying to accept 135 more and more each day. Thanks for the the support!!
songchild - you are so right. I love thinking about having a successful day and just knowing that I'm a healthier, happier person, and it's all down to me. me. me. heheh.
When you hit the 130s I will definitely do a celebratary dance just for you, and I'm sure it will be soon!!
