Anyone in this grouping looking to drop from 140 to 130's. We can all use support. Today I am focusing on all the food groups. Exercise would be good, but I won't be able to since I am working from 9 to 10:30. A Super long day. I hope I can stay focused, when I pass the fast food chaines on my travels today.
chiyo wish i had some advice for you on not snacking at breaktime in a restaurant, thats a hard one... i use to work at shoneys (back when i was in high schoool.. ions ago.. and i snacked alll the time.. they had french toast sticks on a breakfast bar back then, and i use to dip em in hot fudge they used for cakes, lol.. yum... (no wonder i got fat, haha.. actually i only worked there for a short time, cos school was more important, i guess, so thats not why lol)..
and speaking of mcdees, i went and got my hair done today, on the way home the little was saying he was hungry, so i stopped at mcdees to get him a happy meal.. and i DIDNT get me anything :) i actually waited til i got home to eat what i had planned.. YAY ME :)
i will have the teen take a pic of my new hair color later.. (maybe once i finally get some of this housework done.. lol) and post it :) hope everyones wednesday is going well :)

yes Bridgette we want details and pictures. I need to post pictures too, kinda embarassed though. I really hate to have my picture taken. My husband says I am always talking when he is taking my picture.

vcoop - that's awesome that your husband is so onboard with you! my hubby runs with me and generally works out with me three times a week and he eats what i eat when he's home ... but he's definately not keeping an eye on the scale at all, which is fine, it works for him.
carabo - i saw that article in the general forums. crazy! it was kinda discouraging at first, but then, once it sunk in, it was actually encouraging 'cause we're not screwing around here, we're doing things the right way ... 1 lb at a time! lol!

okay okay okay.. i posted the pics and a journal entry about them.. check it out, comment there :) and i did both color and highlights :) at the same time.. took just about two hours.. but my little one was soo good while we were there.. so the mcdonalds was a treat for him :)

I have no advice about the fast food work place... That's how I gained about ten lbs! lol! I started working at chick fil a when I was 16 and all I did was eat fried chicken and french fries!! Granted, yes, I was 16 and I was pretty little, but I worked there till I was about 18 so I didn't really get my good eating habits down when I was in high school... I could eat whatever I wanted back then and then it hit me once I got out of school realizing I couldn't do that anymore!! I'd say just try your best... It'll be hard, but aim for healthier options. Try to eat before you go to work and put a snack in your purse that is easy to grab and eat so you aren't as hungry. good luck!

Brigitte--LOVE THE HAIR!!! it is really cute--it makes you look a lot younger and i think it slims your face down too. now just smile! :) the dress looks fabulous! and i totally agree about posting pictures--it's nice because i used to have to delete a lot because i thought i looked too chubby, but not so much now! :) hope you thwart that cold!

chiyo--welcome! this site is fantastic, and i love all the people on it. so much fun to read and get support and feedback and ideas. for work--take a snack with you. a piece of fruit or a granola bar--something like that that is easily portable and will fill you up. be careful with apples--they're tasty, but for a lot of people, make them feel hungrier afterwards. i recommend a banana if you like them.

so yeah! i had stuff to do yesterday! it was crazy! but i'm back to my normal perusing the web habits today :) my dinner's have not been too stellar the past couple of nights--went out with mom on tues before a lecture and got a seafood pasta dish with a cream sauce *sheepish grin* but i only ate about 1/4 of it since it was so rich and i haven't touched the leftovers :) my mom or dad will polish it off for me, LOL :) then last night i was with the boytoy and he REALLY wanted to order pizza, but i ate a bunch of hummus before it got there so only ate 2 pieces. i really only needed one...but it was tasty :) so when i got home, i decided to try and do my Ab Jam DVD, and it actually really helped get rid of the bloating from all the salt and grease! it was great! i was pretty worried--and REALLY gassy--but since i was in the privacy of my own basement, i let 'em rip! LOL :) and then laughed at myself. it was great :) down at 140 again this morning! amazingly enough--so i'm feelin' good. but lately, my weight has been up after the gym and breakfast, but i'm going by the "just woke up" weight now :) i'm going to panera for lunch--so i logged it in--and am amazed! i'm right at my ordinary calorie level, my sodium is below 1900, and my fat is under 25 g! Yay! I love Panera--but I've kind of sworn off their sandwiches since NONE of them are good for you--and pretty much all contain 75% or more of your daily sodium...but their salads and soups are still within limits!

thanks for the compliments on the dress, took quite awhile to find what I wanted. alot of the dresses were either too old (matornly) or too young. I don't even want to tell you how many shops we went to for her dress. But it was so much fun. She was bridezille for the first couple of months (we went to 3 bridal shows in one day), then she settled down.
wow! 3 shows in one day?! da**! glad she settled down :)
no kidding, gotta love her!!!! she is my only child, so it was nice that she included me. Scott (son -in- law) kept saying glad its you and not me. All in all, it turned out to be a beautiful fall day and everything turned out!!!
