Chit-Chat is fine. I hope we can all get to know one another and truly give encouragement to one another. If you have any suggestions or comments about the club, please email me and let me know.
Just be sure your weigh ins are in bold so that I won't miss any! If you are weighing in at home on a day other than Friday, please wait until Friday to post your week's weigh in so that I don't miss any.
There may be changes, new challenges, new games, etc. as time goes by. I will always make announcements on this thread header and in a post here, so that it will be noticed, hopefully. :-)Members - You must weigh in at least once a month to remain on the member list. If you are going on vacation or there is some reason you will not be able to weigh in for over one month, please email me and let me know.
The Member List shows your starting/current/goal weights the followed by how far you are from your goal. I've broken the list into categories by weight to lose before you reach your goal. Once you reach your goal, you will be moved to the Maintenance area of the list and you may then weigh in as often or little as you'd like, just please try to keep it on Fridays.

** Board Updated **
Sorry it took me so long to update the board this week! I have a bit of a crisis going on here at home. My car is on E, payday isn't until Thursday, and I might be losing my internet for a little while! Sooo, if I'm not able to update next week, go ahead and weigh in & I'll update as soon as possible.
I did keep track of who lost what this time, and our Biggest Loser for the week was 2008orbust with a loss of 7 pounds!
Also, jjlewis305 and mandimoore87 broke below the 200 mark!
** Question of the Week **
How did you choose your Goal Weight?
My original goal weight was 135, but I've decided on 155 and then assessing how I feel & look and possibly going lower. I did that because 135 was a "healthy" weight for my height, but after seeing my "after" photo from WeightView, 135 looked sooo small and 155 looked healthy, so I chose that one. :-)
HOW DID YOU CHOOSE YOUR GOAL WEIGHT?
Im someone who doesn't think that being any lower then 125 would look good. (for me) ... and Im medium framed and muscular so I dont want to look funnny...I want to look healthy, keep some of my curves and been toned.
ONce I hit my goal weight I will look at how I feel and reassessed from there. But I am pretty sure that my goal of 127-130ish will be where I maintain.

How did you choose your goal weight?
I took my "normal" weight when I was still so (110-115lbs till I was 40+) plus 10 lbs because I am 53 and can't imagine what my skin would look like if I lost more than than. I had 3 BIG babies and they did some damage... But of course, this number isn't carved in stone and may be revised if I feel like it once I am there!
I chose my goal weight because it is a simple 100lbs less than I was last August and I do recall being in the 140's and found it pretty good. I'm hoping to be quite fit as well by the time I get there so I will reassess when that goal is reached.
My goal weight is the weight i was before i got pregnant with my daughter. I was comfortable at that weight. Even though it is higher than i should be but it was still comfortable. Plus it's more of a realistic goal then getting to where i'm suppose to be.
Not weighing in this monday because Aunt Flow is visiting, if you know what I mean......trying my hardest to fight the cravings but its not working. so I'm staying below my maintenance calorie intake (should be 1900)...although i have failed at sticking to 1200. will go back once i get over this horrible week lol....

How did you choose your Goal Weight?
It's what I used to weigh before I moved to the US from the caribbean, at 5'3", 110 is still in the healthy range, and it's what I used to weigh..so it seemed reasonable.
Oops, I didn't weigh in last friday! Sorry, there was a lot going on in my house. Thankfully it didn't make me gain...
How did you choose your goal weight?
I used to weigh 110 not so long ago, so I thought it a reasonable goal to want to get back to that weight. I have definitely put on a lot more muscle than I used to have though, so I guess if I hit 115 and stay there I'll be happy too. Just need the number on the scale to start moving (downward!) first!
How did you choose your Goal Weight?
I just wanted to have a BMI that was considered healthy/normal. I'm not sure if I have ever had a healthy BMI, even as a child! My goal weight is 140, which is a BMI of 24.3 [because I'm so short] and if I lose more, it's all good!

Hooray! I'm sooooooo happy to be close to the 150s, I haven't been in them since high school. And I'm officially at the weight I was right before I fell off the health wagon in the fall.

This is my last entry in a while. I am flying off to Switzerland tomorrow night. Hopefully, this number will be MUCH lower when I come back (they say it's freezing over there, against the almost 100F we have here today; imagine that: using up calories without even working out!).
I am planning to walk in the countryside everyday and to never take a bus while in a city... I'll tell you how it went when I come back.

Weight for Feb 01
current weight : 210lbs
Not impressed just found out my scales are broken. I was on them showing a 204.4lbs so was really happy then i leaned forward to look in the mirror and the weight changed, it went up. I have no idea how long they have been like that so unfortunately this should really be the first official weight. I got 3 different weights depending on now I stood on the damn things so have picked the biggest ![]()
Oh well roll on next week.

How did you choose your goal weight? My first goal of 175 was the last number I saw before getting pregnant with my daughter at 20. My second goal of 150, I've never seen in my natural born life. I think I raced past it in 7th grade. Also, I have a wedding to go to in October and that is my goal for the wedding.
