Coffee anyone? Maybe not...

Quote  |  Reply
I just watched a special on TV and it said that coffee in the morning is really bad if you want to lose weigth.  It said to replace it with green tea.  Anyone else hear that?  I am not a big coffee drinker anyhow but I did tell some friends.

I just watched the news and it said that drinking coffee reduces your risk of skin cancer.  You dont know what to believe anymore.  I am a big coffee drinker so I dont care what they say.  I dont drink that starbucks 1000 cal crap but I like my coffee with a little fat free french vanalla creamer in it.
There are benefits and risks to drinking coffee (in moderate amounts, i.e. about 2 cups/day), and I'm sure green tea is better for you, but I just can't, OK won't, change over.  It's my morning companion that I just can't do without.

So I'm with you, ny, with no offense to jazz.  Have a great day!
i drink a big cup of coffee morning.  It has antioxidants just like tea does (Although a little less).  And more importantly it stimulate the bowels.
Just a thought.  All of those weight loss pills, aren't they all full of caffine??  So drinking coffee is the same as taking hydroxicut or stacker 3 right??
Guys... I think everything in moderation is fine. a cup or two per day will not hurt at all.
I agree with safina1, everything in moderation is Ok. Now when you don't stop drinking coffee through out the day...that's an issue.

I love SWEET coffee so i have 1/4 cup of coffee with one french vanilla creamer and 2tbs of sugar. I try to limit myself because it can be good & bad. Especially all the sugar i would put in mine.
