I understand that black coffee has very little calories, but what about flavored ones, like hazelnut, etc?
It doesn't have any nutritional info on the package, but I still drink it black. Do you think it has about the same calories? I just don't want to unknowingly drink like 200 calories. Thanks.. :)

That's a good question. I think that unless its adding many grams of sugar or fat to the coffee then it is unlikely to contain significant calories.
What is the brand? You can google it or look it up on the Tools?
Hazelnut from dunkin donuts black no sugar is 20 cals per cup.
Unless it is a flavor shot I would assume that all brands are relatively similar.
Keep in mind that a whole teaspoon (tsp.) of sugar is only like 16 Calories. If the total volume of the coffee you take is only a tablespoon (tbsp.), it seems likely that the calorie content is very low.
i know that at places like dunkin donuts and starbucks the flavoring only adds like 10-15 calories to the coffee so I can't imagine that its THAT much more than regular flavored coffee
The coffee was Hazelnut Cream by Millstone. I visited their website, and they have NO nutritional info. They do say this, however:
As a connoisseur of flavored coffees, such as vanilla, I questioned how they brew up those great tastes. "Millstone only uses flavor essences to flavor our coffee," rather than sugar or fats, according to the Master Roaster, who admits that he drinks about two pots of coffee every day. The result: "a great flavored coffee with no calories/fat or carbs."
So I guess that means it's just like regular black coffee, and it has the same, minimal calories. Unless anyone else has heard different? The coffee was delicious, by the way. :D

OH - and Millstone is on HG, and she claims it is calorie free. Not only am I totally relieved, but I think I may be in love!
