i don't think losing weight has anything to do with religion.

You'd be surprised. When I started trying to lose weight a year ago I had the best relationship I've ever had with God. I turned to Him for everything. Then, I stopped praying and started binging. I was trying to fill a hole in my life with food, but what I needed to fill that hole was God. I've started praying again, and have been able to control myself around food much better. I'm not saying I'm totally over my problem, but God has certainly helped. That's just my story....for some people losing weight doesn't have anything to do with religion. It depends on the person. And I don't think there's anything wrong with starting a post on religion...I mean, it's not like it's a pro-anorexia post or something...
