Quote  |  Reply

Hey everyone! I'm Jackie and I'm in my first year as an art student. My goal right now is to lose 24 more pounds by December 23rd (family Christmas party)! That will put me at 199 pounds. I come from a huge family and I really want them all to see me in a new light. Plus, I want to look nice in our yearly picture for once! Laughing

Now who's with me? I want to do this with girls my age who are going through similar stresses at college.. So let's get this party started with our stats! I weigh in every Sunday so that's when I'll be updating Smile Everyone is free to update whenever they want!

Age, Height, Pants size: 19 yrs, 5'7", size 16

Starting Weight: 280

Current Weight: 223

Christmas Goal: 199

I'm a sophomore in college and def gained the freshman 15 last year. So far this year I haven't gained anymore and would like to start losing. It was really hard last year because I eat with the guy throwers (i'm a thrower on the track team) and it was so easy to over eat especially when they would tell me i wasn't eating enough and needed more.  This year I have alot more control  and know when to stopand I'm trying to pay more attention to the types of food I eat (trying to stay away from fried foods and i cut out soda completely) I would love to go home, surprise my family and tell my mom she needs to buy me smaller clothes for christmas :) I do alot of heavy weight lifting and since muscle weighs more than fat i'm not sure how many pounds i will actually lose but my main goal is to be toned and hopefully lose a pants size or 2.

Christmas Goal: 150 or less

Yesterday was a bad day, but today I did pretty well... bought a bunch of fresh fruit from the farmers' market, and I've been buying products with Weight Watchers points on it... helps me keep track.

Also, I love Fiber One cereal... yummy!

I'm down to 169.8!

I had a really bad day today, diet-wise. I didn't eat too much, but I ate all sorts of bad things (namely, Starbucks). Hopefully I'm going to do better tomorrow :)

I ate an entire large gourmet veggie from Round Table tonight. I don't even feel full. OMG how awful!

bad week for me :(

sw:146

last week: 143

this week: 144.5

I dont honestly think i gained a whole 1.5 pounds in a a week, it must be bloat/bad time in my cycle/i dont know what else.

So...this week is going to be way better for me, i vow to not have any cheats untill friday (going to a party so I will alot some alcohol haha)

Hope everyone else is staying motivated!

Well I've only lost that 1 pound this week but that's still good! I wish it would speed up a bit though.

Last week: 223

This week: 222

I'm not sure if i'm technically a college student- I graduated with my BA a couple of years ago, but I'm back in school pursuing other career interests for the time being.  Anyway, my husband and I are visiting the in-laws this christmas and I would love to have lost another 20 pounds.  I would be at my ideal weight of 120 and it would be super exciting.  Here are my stats:

Age, Height, Pants size: 24 years, 5'2", 9-10?

Starting Weight: 168

Current Weight: 144

Christmas Goal: 120-125

I've been pretty bad. I'm constantly hungry and snack like crazy. I did not know what was going on with me until I realized that the red fun parade is about to hit town.... ahh its that time again. Well I will not be going anywhere near the scale this week, I know I would get discouraged.

How is everyone else doing?

Hey guys, I went home in the middle of the day, hopped on the scale with my clothes on and such... and I'm down to 141!  I'm sure if I measured like I normally do (in the morning, no clothes, before eating anything), I'd be lower... but I am happy!!

Well, I know if I can do it, so can you guys!  Keep up the great work!

That's completely awesome!! CONGRATS!

down to 154!  woot!  that's 18 lbs gone so far.  my new goal is to lose 1% of my body weight per week.  pretty attainable...it's like 1.4-1.5 lbs per week.

question for everyone.  as a college student, I have my activity level as sedentary because a lot of time I'm in class or on the computer.  Do you log the time that you walk to class and stuff?  Thanks!

I don't log the walking time but I keep it in mind. I checked and I burn around 200 cals a day from walking to/from campus.. So I'm upping my calories to like 1400-1500.
