College Students who want to lose 20+ lbs by summer

I saw a group for teens that wanted to lose 20 + pounds by summer, but quickly noticed that most posts were from 13-16 year olds. I just thought I'd start one up for the 19-25 crowd out there with, unfortunately a slower metabolism. Enter your stats so we can get to know and support each other!

Age- 20

Height-  5'9''

Weight- 157

Goal Weight- 130

lbs to lose- 27

lbs lost so far on caloriecount- 6

Desired Date to Reach Goal- May 22

* fit into old jeans

* more toned legs

lbs lost so far on caloriecount- lost from original 165->120, but then...yeah, don't we all hate the Freshman 15... x_x

Desired Date to Reach Goal- May 31st [2009]

Other Goals-

* fit into old jeans (woohoo!)

* be able to wear a bikini (and look good in it)

* goodbye rubbing thighs...

Desired Date to Reach Goal- This year at some point.. I'm trying to be realistic..  I would love to atleast get down another 15 by the summer

Other Goals-

-I want to lose the weight, but get toned as well

-Fit back into my old size 9 jeans.. I'm about a 12 or 14 right now.. Which is quite a relief after being in 18 for a while

-Not have to put patches on the thighs of my jeans because they rub so badly they tear

I`m very athletic, and i am a dancer.. i have maintained being 160-170 most of my highschool years. Ive always wanted to be 145 or 130  but haven`t disciplined myself enough. I used to workout a lot but the weather got me down so hopefully with your help this will be easier!!

Desired Date to Reach Goal- About October 2009 

Other Goals-

-I want to lose the weight, but get toned as well

-I want to be a nice size 7 i`m a size 9 now ..

-i mainly want a toned stomach and smaller arms

LBs lost so far on caloriecounter- none because I just joined today, I did lose about 20 lbs. on weight watchers over the past few months though

Desired Date to Reach Goal: I'd love it around May 20th! Because that's when I leave for my six week study abroad in Dublin, Ireland. I know that's a little quick though so the end of June would be fine too.

Other Goals:

- fit into a size 6 jeans

- look great in my bridesmaid dress

- feel confident at the beach in a bikini

- go to Dublin feeling more comfortable and confident with my body

We all know what happens with the freshman 15... I've lost 4 pounds so far and I'm really proud of myself. A year ago I weighed 103 and I'm wondering what in the world happened?!

Desired Date to Reach Goal: July 25th (my best friend's wedding!)

Short Term goal: May 9th Under 125 (College Graduation! woo!)

Other Goals: 

Fit into a size 2 jean, even though its not about that (i know really it's not)

Feel confident and beautiful in my bikinis this summer and for the first time not be self conscious about it!

Smaller Calves (come with weight loss I know)

Maybe reverse my a serious heart condition (The dr. did not tell me i needed to lose weight but that the healthier the better! I already eat an extremely healthy diet and work out 2 hours daily)

Learn to not focus so much on FOOD!

Desired Date to Reach Goal- whenever  I'm more concerned about keeping it up than in dates I guess.  But CC says I should reach my goal by April 14, 2011

  • live a healthier lifestyle
  • run a mile in under 10 mins
  • be able to buy clothes at the mall and not a plus size store
  • feel comfortable in a bathing suit
  • not have my tummy hang over haha
  • not have my weight keep me from activities

I'm not too picky on the date, definately be christmas, but as soon as I can because as soon as I get to 120/125, I'm getting myself a whole new wardrobe and I just cannot WAIT for that.

I hope we can keep this thing going.  I love doing groups but they always seem to fade out!  Is there a special weigh in day?

I'd like to get back to the weight I was in high school, fit into a whole lot of my clothes again, and generally feel better about myself.  It used to be that my body was one of my favorite things about myself, but no longer, and I'd like to feel that way again.
