Has anyone on this site tried Dr. Natura Colonix or Toxinout program?  I have been thinking about doing a colon detox and have heard about this from a few people.  My boss and his wife are having success on it and was wondering if there are others that can actually share their experience.

Doe anyone recommend a certain colon detox? If so, why and what was your experience?

Thanks for your input and sharing of experiences!

a cheaper and easy wat to cleanse your colon is to go on a VEGAN raw food diet for a month. it slowly detoxs you and it also aids weightloss in a healthy way.

colon cleansing can make you feel kinda sick if you do extreme stuff.

you can find tons of raw food diet info online and e-stores that sell ready made snacks for convience.
While I don't think you need to go all the way to a Vegan Diet, I do believe that if you're concerned about the cleanliness of your colon, you should be looking to eat plenty of Fiber. Fiber is good! It cleans you out thoroughly :)
Nature's Secret Ultimate Fiber... it's the BEST!
a vegan diet detoxs the body.
healthy amt of fiber keeps you healthy.

its why  its so important to have your veggies.
dark green ones are good at pulling out heavy metals in the body.

proper fiber
vs.
vegan diet cleanse

feels like two different things totally
and makes you look younger and improves my skin amazingly.

Thanks for you advice.  I have been doing some research and am concerned with all the fecal matter that is in my colons.  I try to get the right amount of fiber but I will try the Nature's Secret.

Antoinett_lebrun - Is this how you completed your colon detox?
its the easiest one i did and has no limiting issues like you can't mix certain herbal things with meds. no fasting dangers or wierd things to buy.

you will really notice less headaches and joint pain if thats an issue for you.

it naturally increases your fiber intake without the danger of constapation that can happen if you take too much of your fiber supp. (you are suppose to wean those into your diet)

mejohnst - that is funny.  We have been talking about it at work since my boss and his wife are the program.  They are extremely satisfied so far.  The wife had some issues with it doing nothing for her at first but then it kicked in.  They both say the energy that they have and how they feel is great.  I haven't asked for hte gorry details yet but they keep me posted since they are the guinea pigs for the office.

antoinett_lebrun - thanks again for your input.  It helps a great deal!
What does your doctor say about this?
I haven't talked with my doctor about it....... yet.  This is something new for me.  Once I decide to do a colon detoxify I will be speaking with her.  I know that I need to do this at sometime due to the fact that I use to eat horribly, hence the reason I joined CC.

I am a male aged 37 and i have lost 70lbs since last year on the calorie count suggested calorie intake, when i had lost around 60 lbs i was recomended to go and have colonic irigation by a freind. I was very sceptical but decided to take the plunge ! It was very good and after the initial embarasment of putting my foot through the door and meeting the stunning young therapist that was to carry out my treatment , it was a fantastic experiance. I felt a thousand times better and healthier and cleansed in some way. I strongly reccomend it to anyone feeling bloated or unhealthy about thier colon.
Thanks romero.  May I ask if you completed this with one treatment? Did you take a pill?
I am on the colonix program right now.  I bought the kit with clonix, paranil & the claritea. I started doing it two weeks ago and now that I see all the stuff that's coming out of me I wish I had done this ages ago!!

I usually do a cleansing diet about once a year - there are lots of kits aout there and they all basically work the same way (or so I thought).  Last year I also did a raw foods juice fast for a week and had 2 colonic irrigation treatments... that had good results but nothing like what's going on now. Given that I do pay some attention to this stuff I thought I was relatively "clean" ...

While I will say that the gross pictures on the website made me want to try the program - I also didn't believe that anything nearly that gross would be hiding inside of ME! I'm not all that big to begin with so the thought of yards of impacted goo being inside me seemed absurd.

I'm a bit uncomfortable going into all the gory details of my personal experience, but read some of the testimonials on the website if you have an interest. I might even write one myself when I'm done. The experience seems to be very similar for most people .. and the pictures are not exaggerations.

One thing that made we wait so long to start this (the kit has been in my cupborad for like 8 months) was that I was afraid it would make me um, have to go, at inopportune times.  So far I have not had that experience (knock on wood) - I have not had any times where I just HAD to run to the bathroom.  To be on the safe side though, I do skip taking that stuff on days where I know I may not be near a bathroom (like when we went to the st. patricks day parade.)
There is no "impacted goo" in your intestines. Bet you read about that on a website or promotional material for something that promises to clean out the "impacted goo," didn't you?

BEFORE you do any of these things, check with your doctor. Ask your doctor about "impacted goo." Get your doctor to diagnose you with "impacted goo" before deciding to do something about it. Check MedLine for studies on "impacted goo." Try to find some information that is scientifically sound -- not marketing material -- that states these things are a good idea.

You won't find it.
I take a colon cleanse supplement every few days, or so.  It's made by Arbonne (I sell this product).  Works great!!
heh. Yeah, I expected a response like that.  There's one in every crowd.  Believe whatever you want, and do what's right for you. I'm just sharing my own personal experinces with someone who expressed an interest.

"Impacted goo" is actually a term I made up on the spot.  I would have to agree that most doctors would be unfamiliar with that or any other term I invented.  If you doubt the validity of my personal results, I would be more than happy to mail you some for you to analyze further.
I read a report by... gosh, I don't remember who... Detoxs DO work as in.. you remove STUFF from your body, but... it isn't necessarily stuff that needs to be removed. Yes, you remove feces. Also, you remove interstinal lining (that "Thick, Ropy Stuff" I've heard so many people talk about that comes out during detox.. that's your intestinal lining, which, like all your cells DOES slough off with time and find it's way into your.. output). Detoxes ALSO remove FRIENDLY bacteria, such as the stuff you eat in Yogurt, that helps you break down things like lactose.

I don't think Detoxificiations are necessary, personally. I think to keep your body running as smoothly as it's supposed to, all you need to do is get in a great deal of fiber. I didn't argue with the Vegan claim, because I do think there's something to the Vegetarian Diet that is potentially better for you (so long as you're getting ALL The vitamins and nutrients you need, including B12) than the Omnivore Diet (even if that isn't a route I personally am ready to go), but... I have to argue that an actual Detox will, in the long run, do ANYTHING at all.

Your body does not hold onto natural garbage. It's a wonderfully efficient machine and it does everything in it's power to continue to be as efficient as possible.
i've always had chronic constipation as a child, fibre never worked for me, plus i'm a vegetarian, so i'm thinking of using colonix as well.
sorry, but meat doesn't digest fully, anyone who eats beef has some of it still rotting in their colon.
I'm sorry, but that's not true. Meat digests fully. Why would you believe otherwise? what in meat do you think does not digest?
