No Fo0t Lo0pS?!?!?!? =p you could prolly dip cherrios on food coloring, but you couldnt leave them in long because theyd get soggy

Hmm. This is a tricky one.

Quickly and lightly mist them with cooking spray and shake them in ziplock bags of colored sugars?

But then, you don't  have fruit loops, what if you don't have colored decorating sugars like we do? Or, what if that doesn't work anyway? haha. Lets see, we need a Plan B.

Second suggestion: Take some egg whites, color those with food coloring and then brush the egg white onto the cheerios? Maybe throw them in the oven for a bit if moistness becomes an issue?

I hope i helped.

I'm actually really interested in what works for you so let us know how things go!! :)

I'm going to assume, since your doing crafts, you have access to those powdered tempra paints that we used to use back in kindergarten (at least in Canada).  Try very lightly misting the cherrios with water, and tossing them in a bag with the powdered paint.  Them dry them on racks with a fan or in the oven.

If you don't plan on eating them, you could use spray paint maybe?

Do you have the fruity cheerios? You can pick through the colours for red and green ones.

why dont you take a marker and color them manually with red and green

why dont you take a marker and color them manually with read and green?

Because read isn't a color? (Sorry couldn't resist) Laughing

Paint them with finger paint and a small paintbrush.
