COMMITMENT CONTRACK.. . Mines 14wks. Join me.
Hi everyvone, I'am making a 14 week commitment for myself. Starting to day April 27,2008. I plan to commit myself to a fully design program for myself to lose these last 22 pounds.
I Lynn vow to commit myself to a 14 week Diet and Exercise plan. Most of my weight loss goals has been met. My new goal weight is to lose 22 pound by August the 2nd of 2008. I'm giving myself 14 weeks to reach this goal. This want be an easy track of road to walk, but I'm willing to follow my plan, and to keep the CC network of friends and people updated on my weight loss, and what I've found to be very helpful during this process. I will not stop until I reach 145LBS. I want stop until I hit my mark. My new Life Style Change has open my eyes to a lot of things, and I've over came a lot of them. I've made it through a 4 month plateau with out breaking down, and I've made it through the struggles of my family problems, and I've still made it through with no weight gain. Now that most of the long road is behind me.. It's time to set up an 14 week plan, and finish what I've started a year and a month ago. I've haven't stopped, but it's really time to get busy. I've been busy.. I know what I'm talking about. It's time to really get deep and polish the rest of this new body. I've been doing well, and I've lost over 59 pounds and now it's time to really get set for the rest of my life. I'm loving the new size 14/16. I'm enjoying myself. My last 22 pounds will be my commitmentt to myself, and I am ready to get set and go.
My programs will be
Starting with Clean Low Fat Eating.... More Raw Fruits and Veggies.
4-5 days of Exercising Carido/Toning (Home) 1hr/30 mins
2-3 days of Weight Training/ Circuit Training (GYM w/Trainer) 1hr/15mins
Keeping a weekly Exercise Journal
Keeping a bi weekly measurement system chart.
Starting Weight is 167.0 -22 pounds =145
14 weeks of working hard to make it to my goal weight of 145.
-22 pounds from this now (167.0)
I hope you are willing to join me. This isn't a challenge. This is a Topic for commitment, and success. Nothing like a race, just a new start on getting to where I want to be, and adding and making new friends along the way. Like I said before, this isn't a challenge, just one little commitment for success and motivation.
I hope I hear from you.
Lynn,
I'm in there with ya Lynn! Great job on the 59 lbs! WOW!
I lost 22lbs and have put 5 back on since taking on a new job and not being able to work out as often. I'm determined to get back down those 5 lbs and lose the final 20. This website works and I'll just have to adjust my workouts & food planning to my busier schedule. I took a nice break from worrying about my food, but I'm starting to slip back into old habits (mostly cold beer and chips on the beach since I'm in Hawaii) but I refuse to carry this weight anymore.
My program will be:
-
- Eating good healthy food, more fruits, veggies and protien
- 4-5 days of running or kickboxing
- 2 days of stretching and yoga
- no wine at all, but an occasional light beer
- continue this program while on vacation.
- 165-15=150 (I only lose about a lb a week)
- 150-15=135 final goal
I'm looking forward to having fresh motivation and helping each other along!

Mangomomma, we can do this. I know we can. I'm just commiting to 14 weeks, but I'm not going to say I want make it. I will be happy if I kick of more than that during this commitment. My goal is to lose 22, but I can always go for a few extras if you know what I mean. I'm not going to stop once I reach it. I'm going to keep on doing this. A nice cold beer is good for you. My boyfriend Grand Mom is 89 years young, and she still has her a shot of something every night before she goes to bed at night. She said, It's good for the soul and helps her rest well.
Glad to have ya!

Hey girls, how is it going.. I've lost one pound, and I am still holding it.. Feeling great.. Reading more on fitness and taking notes. Eating 3 serving of fruit thanks to Jella SMART post, and I am doing just fine.. Still working on a lot of the things I want to improve like my thighs.. They are burning really they are.. I'm working out hard and I feel great.. Changed the post name.. Too Long... I just feel really great... How are you two doing?
Hey there - I would love to be part of this group. I started "seriously" trying to lose when I reached 140, joined CC at 135 and currently hover between 126-128. I have been stuck here since the end of February and now want to make a commitment to lose the last 6-8 pounds.
My commitment:
90% raw foods - only exceptions are coffee and an occassional glass of wine
yoga 4-5 days/week
run/weights 2 days/week
rest 1 day
water - 2 liters/day
goal weight - 120 lbs (hopefully by July 1 = 1 lb/week)
How is everyone else doing?
I need to COMMIT!
Just getting started here and need some motivation guys. I've slowly gained weight over the last couple years- since my daughter was born, and just now noticed how much it has added UP! I looked at a picture of myself from last weekend my daughters 2nd birthday and thought...I have got to do something now!
My goals are very similar to lynnhaslost and her enthusiasm has led me to post my first post on CC! So here are my goals:
More Raw Fruits and Veggies, Fiber and Protein...eliminate bad carbs
2-3 days of Cindy Crawford Workout (I love it when I do it) 1hr/30min. 2-3 days cardio 30 min. (hate cardio...any suggestions?)
Keeping a weekly Exercise Journal on cc
Starting Weight is 160.0 -20 pounds =140
14 weeks of working hard to make it to my goal weight of 140.
Thanks guys let's help each other through this!
HI Ladies-
Mind if I join you all? My plan is to lose 15-20 lbs. I will be eating 1200-1500 calories a day and doing cardio 3-5 times a week for 30-60 minutes. I am 5'3 and weigh 175.8 right now. My overall goal will be 140. I have lost 23 pounds in 2 years and kept it off. Actually last year I was up to 43 lbs gone but I gained 20 back. I have been having a hard time committing to doing this. I do good a couple of weeks then something battling with the couple of pouds I lose because I go to maintenence eating. I just need to do this.
Nikki
Hi Nikki, Ramielap, and lfaine
You're all welcome.. This is a commitment post.. Something that you are ready to do for yourself, and you need a group of friends to hold you to that commit to yourself. More like support.. I've lost only 1 pounds since I've started my commit to myself.. That's cool, because I know I must hold myself accountable for the things I have planned for myself an no-one else.. Just me.. We all need to support each other in doing this.. We can also share tips on here.. Like great workout moves we found, or a new way of eating something.. Like the rule half only I've started... I eat my dinner and I only eat half, then I stop for like 10 to 15 mins to see if I'm still going to want more.. If I do.. Then I finish.. I always leave behind 1/4 of the food on my plate.. Not pushing to finish it all when I know I am full... It really works for me.. Just started this last week. Cardio Tip: When you feel you are not getting enough cardio in.. Or you just aren't in the mood to work out, or is in a bad mood.. Get the one Cd you know that will get you going, and close the door to your bed room, and dance your butt off.. I do this 3 days a week for 30 mins sometimes an hour, and I do it also when I am cleaning up the house or my bed room.. Folding clothes.. It's always sitting on the ball with the baskets around me.. I get a great bounce ab workout doing that, and it's always good to find new things to do when you need to workout.. Chocolate My next love after clothes.... I have one piece of dove dark chocolate in the morning after I take all my vitamins.. It's something that I do.. I heard somewhere that dark chocolate is good for your heart. So I have just one piece of it everyday.. Does me some good.. With some O.J. Not O.J. Simpson.LOL... But it get's my sugar levels up to where they need to be so I want crave so much sweets during the day. Those have been my new found tips, and I love them.. If you have any please share.. I like to try them out. But dancing when you can't get into a workout mood is a good way.. It always work for me.. That's my cardio mover right there..
Lynn-
Thank you for the welcome and the tips. I read your other thread on dancing and have started to dance throughout the day. A little here and there. Today I rode the exercise bike for 30 minutes. I am at 1300 calories for the day including dinner. I'm not sure if I will have desert later or not.
Have a great night ladies,
Nikki
