i have some un-popped popcorn kernels that i wish to throw out.

can i compost them? or do they just go in the garbage?

ps: i don't have a garborator or anything of the sort.

I don't know why not--just take a hammer to them to crack the hulls.

Feed them to the birds and squirrels.

Oh, excellent!  I never thought about that!  We have a chipmunk who lives under our porch.  I bet he'd love some popcorn seeds.  Do you think buttered popcorn kernels would be ok, or maybe it would give sad chipmunks indigestion?

I dont know if a garborator is a sink's waste disposal but my daughter jammed ours with unpopped kernals for anyone else reading.
