confessions of a plate licker...am i alone?

Okay, so this is really random and embarrassing but I always lick my plate when I'm done eating. it's not hunger because i could be stuffed and still i'll do it. does anyone else lick their plate clean after they finish eating? i won't do it in front of others but if i'm alone it never fails. weird =/

You are not alone plus it is polluting to throw away food. 

Lol, that's cute!  I don't, but I probably would if I didn't have dogs who do it for me   I can't eat anything in front of them without giving them the plate/bowl afterward, or they make me feel so guilty!

I hate it!!! Sorry I don't do it but my g/f does and I think it's soooo gross and is one of my pet peeves. Makes me wanna puke watching someone do it.

Only if it's an icecream bowl!  Or a peanut butter spoon :)

that's a bit extreme but hey...we all have our peeves i guess. but your gf does it...so i'm not alone..lol

depends what's on the plate. 

i live alone, so i get away with all kinds of uncouth behaviours that i'd never do if i had roommates or a family.  i double dip, lick the serving spoon, and drink out of the milk carton all the time ;)

Ditoo. xD Since my CC experience I seem to only do it when healthy food is involved though. The occasional baddie doesn`t seem to make me mind any dripping/crumbling/whatever. Odd, eh?

I've used my finger to swipe the leftover bits of yogurt or pudding from a carton before, but actually lick a plate? Never.

Maybe I've just owned dogs for too long, but that seems a little..well, less than strictly polite, I suppose.

Though, I'm sure you don't do it at restaurants or anything haha

Ha! Yup, I totally lick my plate... especially if there's some delisious sauce on it, like my mom's famous spaghetti sauce, a delisiouc gravy or some other tasty pan drippings :P
