Confused and worried about calorie counting
Hi, this is my first time writing on here. I've been using CC on and off since April. I only started using it daily since the middle of June. I started my "diet" in mid May and since then I've nearly lost 20 pounds.
My goal is 130, currently I'm 147 and 5'7" I got down to 144 and then randomly a few days ago my weight went back up to 147. I don't know why because my days consist of working for 8 hours then going to the gym. I do cardio for about 90 minutes and then do some weight training. I don't really know why I gained 3 pounds back and it has me quite flustered. All I do is worry about how many calories I take in daily and it's starting to get on my nerves that all I can think about is how many calories I should eat. I've gotten to the point where i barely eat 1000 calories a day, yet in cardio alone I work off almost 1000 calories and still see no results. I'm starting to worry about myself, all I want is to be happy in my own body, so much that it's becoming the only thing I think about.
Does anyone have any ideas/tips about what I'm doing wrong as to why I gained the 3 pounds back and how I can get to my goal without me going crazy counting calories? Thanks to anyone who responds.

you're definitely eating too little. you should be consuming AT LEAST 1200 a day (that's the minimum for me and i'm 5 inches shorter than you.)
You are eating too little and your body and holding onto everything to protect itself...
Bump your calories up.... you should be eating around 1800 calories with your activity level if not more.
You need more calories, try eating a serving of sunflower seeds or nuts.
The other ladies that have replied are correct. You aren't eating enough and your body goes into panic mode...starvation alert, if you will...and will hold on to every calorie you take in. This happened to me too. I worried just like you did.
1.) When someone told me to eat more I thought they were crazy, but I tried it and it actually worked. Stay steady with whatever calorie intake goal CC has set for you and it will pay off in the end I promise.
2.) Do not go under 1,000 / 1,200 calories...very bad for your body.
3.) Keep in mind, also, as you work out you gain some muscle weight.
4.) Increase your water intake, this will flush out any water gain.
5.) Don't weigh yourself everyday. Once a week is enough otherwise you'll get frustrated (trust me). When you do weigh yourself, do it first thing in the morning after you use the bathroom, but before your shower. This will give you your TRUE and accurate body weight. You always weigh more by the end of the day.
6.) The last peice of advice I have for you is this...take regular vacations from your diet and excersise. I used to stress about every calorie I was taking in 24/7. I carried my laptop with me everywhere I went on the weekends and logged everything. I literally drove myself crazy and almost quit altogether. I stopped stressing about food on the weekends, kept the laptop at home, and just had FUN! Plus your body needs rest time to repair itself. Once I relaxed myself, I started dropping weight again no problem.
You are doing just fine...keep up the good work...!
