Congrats!
Congratulations to Flamel -- just celebrating his 1 year smoke free anniversary today. Great job!
Anyone else hitting a milestone?
Wish I could say the same. Seems I "quit" every week. Would love to have a quitting buddy!
Congrats to Flamel!!!
Congrats! Keep it up. It is all will power. What has worked for me - thinking of the negative smoking does to our bodies and finding a positive to replace it. I have been smoke free as of Dec 4 - since 1995. 13 years... ANYONE CAN DO IT - it just takes determination. YOU CAN DO IT...
Great going flame. I actually celebrated my one-year as smoke free on November 22. Right now I am trying to take off the 40 lbs which have resulted from not smoking. Actually I have taken off the first 3 lbs.
willfull
A year is wonderful... but now I have to do something about all the weight I've gained lately - oops!
Hi everyone! I just started dieting for the first time in my life. I just turned 50 a few months ago (I also joined the 50 somethings group). I have gained almost all of the weight I need to lose in the last 2 years...since I quit smoking. It will be 2 years on January 1st. Yep...it was my New Years resolution. Anyway, 6 weeks later my husband passed away. And then 6 months after that I shattered my ankle and it to forever to heal, so I was not active for a long time. It's only been just the past few months that I have started getting around better and exercising more. I've been hitting the YMCA hard since the day after Christmas and am determined to lose these extra 40-50 lbs. But quitting smoking has been the best thing I've ever done for myself...even with the weight gain. Now I just need to keep at it! It's so nice to know I'm not alone. Thank you!
