Recipe Ingredients for Conjee


to make conjee powder:
1 cup wheat
1 cup rice
1/2 cup chick peas
1/2 cup mung beans, dried
1/2 cup millets
1/2 cup corn
1/2 cup peanuts
1/4 cup almonds
1/8 cup cashews

Recipe Directions for Conjee

  1. roast whole wheat, rice, chick peas, horsegram, millets, corn and peanuts separately.

  2. cool.

  3. dry grind all the ingredients together and store the powder in an airtight container.

  4. mix one tbsp of the conjee powder in 25 ml water.

  5. add to 200 ml milk(optional) or water, bring to a boil.

  6. reduce flame and simmer till raw smell vanishes.

  7. add one tsp sugar. (optional)

  8. serve hot or chilled.
