I have read a number of books related to changing metabolism, and
several mention adding CLA (conjugated lineoleic acid) as a supplement.
There are some studies showing reduction in belly fat and increase in
muscle for those who take it (i.e, it improves body fat to muscle
ratio, not necessarily causing pounds to drop off). I tried 60 days of
it and I see no difference, but I'm looking for folks with more
experience to decide whether to buy more.
Thanks,
Robbie

I took it for 18 months straight, I lost a lot the last 6 months but I only ate with a differental the last 6 months.
BTW CLA is a transfat, no really it is a natural transfat.
PS the newest study about CLA is a little worrying link:
CLA supplementation increases oxidative stress and inflammatory biomarkers in obese men. The oxidative stress seems closely related to induced insulin resistance, suggesting a link between the fatty acid-induced lipid peroxidation seen in the present study and insulin resistance. These unfavorable effects of t10c12 CLA might be of clinical importance with regard to cardiovascular disease, in consideration of the widespread use of dietary supplements containing this fatty acid.
insulin resistance = worrying.
Well, CLA is a trans fat so it's effects are more far reaching than just "reduction in belly fat". Studies show that it will dramatically change essential fatty acid distribution in your body, with likely harmful results.
I wouldn't risk my health for possibility of small changes in belly fat percentage.
