This year I really wanted t go trick or treating, but was afraid that the night would end in binge eating candy. I decided that I was not going to let me fear stop me from having fun, so I went trick or treating. It has been four days since Halloween. I've only eaten 3 very small pieces of chocolate, and today I gave away all of my candy. I learned that building self control takes time and alot of hard work, but I have finally reached that point. I hope at least one person finds this story a somewhat inspiring.
Congrats!! That's AWESOME!! Unfortunately I didn't conquer halloween and binged on chocolates and chips for a few days. Giving away all the candy, I should've done that. Cheers!!
Congrats!! Unfortunately almost all the candy was chocolate this year.
I did learn from a co-worker that her kids sold her back the candy they got for trick or treat. It was easy, the way it works was the kids would bet how much they want per pound for the candy and they needed to do the math in there head. Her kids said $3 dollars per pound. She had 5 pounds of candy so each kid got $15 dollars each and they lost all the candy never to get it back. The only down fall to this was the she took all the candy to work and everybody in the office will have candy for the next 3 weeks.![]()

Excellent! You're really in control if you can eat some bad things without going overboard. Personally, I ate a cookie, a marshmellow, three pieces of candy corn, 1/2 a kit kat bar, and six or so white chocolate chips.
