constipation and weight gain?

Quote  |  Reply

How likely would it be for a female, age 54 and working out regularly to put on over 5 pounds after not going to the bathroom (for #2) for  four OR five days.

I am bloated, my tummy and the scale says I've put on weight since last Thursday.

Has anyone else had/have this problem.

answer back, please

Just went through this - lost 5 pounds over night after finally going for the first time in 5 days!

I thought I was getting enough fiber, but I wasn't.  I was also eating too much sugar (Easter - thank goodness the yummy stuff is gone!).

I started eating 1 cup of Fiber One ceral in the morning with 1/2 cup greek yogurt instead of milk, and added some fresh fruit to it.  Ate salad for lunch with lots of veggies.  I also upped my water intake. (I ate other things, too, but these were the "moving" foods)

My stomach feels SO much better, and my scale is my friend again.

I need to up my water intake-again.  I tend to fall back on that.

Today, I'm going to pick up this stuff called WHOLY TEA,  which  detoxifies the liver and bowels.  I used it before and it did work-for a while.  I found I  have to change up my products on a regular basis.

I could tell I was bloated by my tummy and when I got on the scale at the gym I was up more than five pounds-in four days!

Hopefully, things will change for the better starting today-or tomorrow.  Would you like me to let you know?
