Hi my name is Phil I am 53 and live in Australia. I am married and have two boys of my own and my second wife Donna has four of hers all not living at home thank goodness. I found this site through a friend on Facebook and so far have found it very helpfull even though it has been only 1 and a half weeks since I joined. I hope to meet a lot of people in here and would like to know if there is anywhere in here where there is a chat room so I can talk to people directly.

Hi, I'm not new to this site. I am returning. I'm 50 something and want to lose the weight I put on after I quit smoking. My first time on the site I lost 10 lbs. and then I go lazy. I can't do it on my own. I need motivation and this site gives me that. I live in a community where there is alot of obese people. I look like Twiggy. Anyway here to lose at least 20 lbs.
Welcome back! My story is almost exactly the same as yours! I lost 20 pounds and was down to a szie 6 then gave up on CC and am back 3 years later having gone back up to 170. I am down 8.5 pounds so far and am excirted. Thing is, as you mentioned I have to stay here this time to maintain! Good luck and again, welcome back!

All of us need someone to talk with who understand what we are going thru. I've been here two months now and lost 25 pounds. I'm kind of on a plateau right now. Haven't lost anything for 5 days. But I'm holding steady! I know 5 days does not a plateau make, but I DO like seeing the scale move down down down!!!
