Hello all,

I have just started a contest with a few of my closest friends to see who can loose the biggest percentage of weight by August 4th. I am going to try to go from 144 to anywhere between 125 and 130 by then. That will be about 10% or more of my current body weight. Anyone on here trying to reach the same goal, I would like to get on here and have something like weekly weigh-ins or just talking about what mini goals we met or just to vent to each other and help each other reach our goals....

 

Anyone who wants to have some support and motivation just let me know! I am totally ready to kick some fat cell's butt!!! :)

hey everyone i just saw this but would love to join!

i try to incorporate cardio daily and eat around 1300-1600cals/day. this group seems very encouraging and motivating. here are my stats

age--17

Starting weight--165 august 07

current weight--140

height--5'7"

goal--127ish

Sorry for the late check in (again). My weight on Wed was 140. Down three lbs from last week, but I'm not holding my breath that it will stay this way. If this thread keeps going I won't be able to check in again for 2 weeks because I'm going out of town and I don't know how much internet access I'll have. Hopefully I won't fall off the wagon though and come back 10 lbs heavier!

I have been having some difficuly staying motivated. Plateaus are motivation killers! I hope everyone is staying focused!

Talk about being late with my check in !!  Sorry all !!

I'm really bummed, I've GAINED 2lbs...   I cut my intake by about 1000 calories per day, switched to diet pepsi (a major addiction) no sugar in my coffee anymore - another addiction !  been drinking 80 oz's of water daily, vitamins, excercising, and ta da... 2 extra pounds !   : (

Been having "female" issues too... 3 mos. and aunt flo hasn't visited, the doc put me on hormones for a week - don't know if that has anything to do with anything...

maybe by the time I check in again....

 

 

Todays check in.

I am 146. I have not lost any weight in about 2 weeks. Plateaus stink. I have strayed slightly from my diet. I am back on track and hope to lose a pound by Sunday.

okay, its check in time.  I'm at 139.  I didn't work out today, so I'll probably work out harder tomorrow.  Been bad though, just had McDonalds with my daughter.  I'll do better next time.

donisharee:  Plateaus stink!!!!  Just stay on track and I'm sure those pounds will start to come off.

Good morning ladies!!!!!! I went to workout this morning, did an hour of cardio and did a little circuit training.  I hopped on the scale and I was at 136.6.....It's a bright and sunny day in Hawaii.  Hope everyone is doing well...

Where is everybody?............Hope everyone is doing okay.

Long time, no post. It seems like over a month since anyone has added to this....including me. As of 2 days ago I am down to 128 lbs, but to be fair, I think I had my starting weight wrong. I was guesstimating about 140lbs, but I know I have not lost 12lbs, so I must have been way off. Anyway I'm still excited, because now my new goal is 120 lbs. I'm going to Puerto Rico in 1 week and a half so I hope to be bikini ready by then.

 

Any updates from anyone?
