I know just what you mean about the weather. I feel trapped in my home and all I have been doing all winter is eating. As soon as it warms up I packing up my kids and I am going to start walking and riding my bike.

Not sure of my measurements, so I will give my pants size which is a 16. Do need to take measurements though...that seems to be a good way to check what you have lost, since some weeks you might not loose in weight, but you have in inches.

I don't understand what you guys are measuring, could anyone tell me? I measuer my upper arm around and got eight inches, or ten centimeters. What are the fourties and thirties you guys are getting?
oh i wanna join! i am the most competive person i know! when i lost weight a few years back before i had my kids, my sister and i did it as a compitition. we would pick a goal, says -10lbs, and the loser had to buy the winner a new pair of workout pants or a t-shirt in a smaller size...things like that. i've tried to get her to join with me again in the whole weight loss world but so far she's a no go ![]()
but regardless i love to try to beat people lol so here are my stats

not sure on measurements but i can get them before monday....
generally people measure around their chest, waist, and hips. some also do upper arms and thighs.
to measure chest: measure around your body at the fullest part of your breasts (like measuring for a bra)
waist: measure around the most narrow part of your trunk...like were the waist of your pants sit
hips: measure around the fullest part of your hips, like around your hips, lower abs, rear end area
it's all like when you are getting fitted for clothes
