I was a bonehead and forgot to weigh myself before I ate breakfast yesterday, so I remembered to today:  197.  I think that is down 1.5 from last week.  That is better, I  need to stay on track.  I really want to get below 190 (and beyond, of course!) where I was last summer. 

Last night I did some gardening to my own house (spent 2+ hours doing yardwork at my parents' house Sat and therefore got nothing done at my own that day), so it feels good to have that done.  Well, almost.  I have 3 more plants to put in but first I need to figure out where the best spot would be for them to thrive.

Mother's day went well, I made a very nice meal for my parents which was pretty healthy overall and they enjoyed it.

Glad to hear things seem to be better with your hubby issue, brwnize.  Hopefully it stays better.  And I think you are right, we should keep on hanging onto this challenge to make it to -50 lbs!  Even thought our numbers have dwindled, there is a nice support group of friends that have emerged!

Tannis, are we going to hear from you this week?  Hope things are going well for you.

Oh Tannisbell, oh Tannisbell, where out are there? Hey girlfriend don't leave us, were here, where are you, this is a 50 lb challenge no matter how long, how hard, how frustrating this is, we can do it, little by little. Please come back.

All you other ladies out there that started this, where are you, it's time to get back on the horse and finish the race. If your worried about how your doing it cant be any worse what Im doing, but Im not giving up, would like to have you ladies here too to finish this. If you decided to do on your own, good luck but were here if you need help.

Hey Melicious way to hang in there, you go girl, we can do this together if this is all we got, are you with me? What is your total weight loss since we started this, Im at 4.8, it's not much but Im almost 5 lbs lighter and its not a gain. Glad you had a nice Mothers' day, we didn't do a whole lot, my mother has passed and my mother-in-law we talked to on Saturday and got her flowers. Sunday we took the day and went boat hunting.  We haven't started that whole gardening thing yet, done some lawn work though. As for the whole girl textn' issue, she still text him on occasion but he's not texting back. I don't know if he text her while Im not around but atleast he's so far showing me the respect on how I feel about it, hopefully it last. This morning I was thinking to myself she must not have any respect on how I feel, her point of view she is texting a married man while his wife is home, what a biotch! Wait till we run into her, Im trying to figure out something smart to say like......so your the woman that has turned MY husband into a texting King, what do you think Melicious. lol.

Uh, weight lost since we started the challenge...uh....*melicious hem-haws around, embarrased*....Embarassed...1.5lbs....I started at 198.5 and have gained and lost the same 1.5 lbs. over and over and over, week after week after week...LOL  Hopefully one of these days/weeks I can actually make some real progress!  The lowest during this challenge was 196.5.

Good Morning ladies, woo hoo, my husband and I went away for the weekend and had a wonderful time. Unfortunately, I did take the weekend off from CC and WW, I had good food, good drinks and good time. So I did not weigh in this morning because I was very bloated, will weigh in tomorrow morning. My husband and I are heading back to the gym tonite, that ought to be pretty rough considering haven't been there since November. But looking forward to getting back, hopefully that will jump start something and I can kick this weight loss in gear.

Melicious how ya doin there, are you still hanging in with me? How was your weekend and how is everything going?

OK, now Im going to be a little mean, but with good intentions. Ok all you ladies that started out here, where the Hell are ya. I know this is not easy because I've been doing this for 5 years now and Im still trying. Valrocks you said you were a challenging person, where ya go, you started this, I know we ALL have bad times, but it's time to get back on the horse, we all fall off. That goes for Tannis86, malomadame,  debster863, sweetiedarling, jat145, evilsparkle, kelseymarie2, hallebailey, sweetiedarling, 2babettermom. We all joined this for one reason, it was a challenge, well take a look, were all having trouble, so get your butts back here, and lets finish this challenge!!!!! I really don't want to start a new challenge, I would like the ladies I started with, to finish with. Don't start something if your not going to finish it!!!

I have a poster that one of my co-workers drew for me along time ag because I have been on this roller coaster most my life, and everytime I want to give up I pull that poster out of the closet and hang it up. It is a picture of a duck trying to eat a frog and the frog is hanging out of the ducks mouth with his leg(arm,hand, whatever you want to call it) around the ducks neck, the saying that is attached is NEVER GIVE UP!!

Well I weighed in today and Im down, unbelievable after what i ate over the weekend, but had a great time with my hubby. We went to the gym last night, OMG, I busted my assssssssssss, well at least my legs. I think I did pretty good for not being in the gym since last November, I ran 2 miles in about 35 minutes, that's actually pretty good for me, and few times I ran at 5.0 WOW, surprised I didn't fall on my face.lol Hubby and I are getting back to the gym, ugh, not one of my favorite things to do. But I want to complete a 5K this year sometime. Well on that note, I am down, I was so bloated last week.

On my week away from home, I would eat really well, then really bad, really well and really bad. So Im back to trying to slow down and focus on one day at a time.

UPDATE

My mexico wedding for January is OFF. New location here in my home province, and new date SEPT!! So I have cut off alot of time. I gotta start working harder at this as now I have way less time to get into my dress!

Hello ladies, I think its down to only three of us left? I was looking in the motivation forum and i found another monday weigh in group. I think we should join in with them to boost the convo and support. You in?

Hey tannis girl, way to go, you lost having a tough week. Im up for moving to a new location, just let me know which one it is, hope melicious goes to, don't want to lose my CC buddies. Where do you live, are you nervous about moving the wedding date? Your getting so close to goal, your just right around the corner, you'll be there before you know it.

My husband and I went back to the gym on Monday, I did a run/walk and paid for it on Tuesday, didn't go back, but going back tonight and so is my husband. Were trying to figure out a routine to do, he only wants to lose about 10 lbs, he's all muscle, just a little love handle, but hopefully this will kick my butt into gear, weight loss has been slow not sure why.

Hey ladies!  Sorry I was AWOL the beginning of the week but I had a cold, felt miserable, and forgot to weigh in at the appropriate time until today!  Not a stunning result anyhow: 197, which is what I think I was last week.  I really need to make a stronger effort.  I am so sick of the excess fat and looking this way.  You would think that in and of itself would be motivation...(eye roll, sarcastically, about my apparent lack of devotion to the cause)...

Glad to have you back, tannis, and congrats to both of you for losing! Sure if you guys want to move somewhere we can, just let me know where.  Keep up the good work!  And high five to brwnize for getting back to the gym!  Woo hoo! 

*edit - oh yeah, I forgot I have a rant: last night my husband informed me that he lost 8 lbs. basically by just eating breakfast.  Men suck.  OK, they suck because they can lose weight on a whim like it is nothing.  I really hate that.  It makes me feel even worse.  He doesn't exercise to speak of, drinks beer and eats all sorts of crap and still manages to lose weight.  Meanwhile I exercise numerous times a week and try to watch what I eat and eat waaay healthier than him in general but I stay the same weight, or lose just a bit.  Grrrr!!
