Can anyone tell me how much 1 cup of chopped, cooked turkey breast weighs?

100g?

125g?

Ugh, the joys of not having a food scale...

142 grams according to the google research i just did... :D

you could just put it in the food log... wouldn't that work it out for you?

google works wonders.

I use a food scale for anything that's not liquid.  It's way more accurate, mine does both grams and ounces.

Thank you all. I did use google, but found conflicting results. The input helps!

The awesomeness of the food scale... You really should pick one up. Walmart has one for only 4.97. It's a measuring cup that removes from the scale base. The scale is adjustable (like a bathroom scale) to account for different containers, like a paper plate or something else lightweight. Pretty neat for under $5, but it probably wouldn't take much abuse.

because there is no answer.  You can't use a volume measurement (a cup) for a solid.

You can fit anywhere from 100-150 grams in a cup.  Which is why you need to weigh your solid food.

Yeah that. Food scales are inexpensive & really useful. My old one died & I invested in a bakers scale that measures liquid & solids in ounces & grams. It's fantastic. It's crazy how various volume measurements are. I always go with grams.
