1 1/2 cups strawberries, sliced
2 tsp sugar

Recipe Directions for Cooked Strawberry Filling

  1. Slice strawberries

  2. Sprinkle on sugar*

  3. Heat in pot over med heat

  4. Cook, stirring occasionally, until liquid-y

  5. Turn heat down to med-low or less and cook until desired thickness

  6. Let cool slightly

  7. Use to fill crepes, top cakes, or whatever you'd like

  8. Use more or less sugar to your preference, or no sugar at all if you'd like to avoid it
