cookies!!!! which one is right!?!??!
ahhh so on calorie count the cookies chocolate chip regular from recipie etc are just 78 calories for one cookie, but then all the other ones with brands on them (from subway, nestle, whatever) are like 210 and 300 calories.... WHICH IS RIGHT?!?!?! i just had a regular sized homemade cookie, like 2 inches in diameter or whatever, so what does that count as....? going CRAZY!! thanks in advance...
I would think that a homemade cookie would have less calories than packaged cookies...preservatives and stuff like that are in packaged cookies. you are probably ok with the 78 or so estimate. Maybe 100 just to be safe. I love those 100-calorie pack snacks they have out now...then I dont have to worry about counting...the chocolate covered pretzels are yummy!!

What size was your cookie? Stick one on the scale and find out how much it weighs... a very small cookie has far fewer calories than a big one.
I made a pumpkin pie and I was shocked that calorie counter said that it had 300 calories a slice - then I put one of my slices onto the scale and discovered that it was only 2 oz instead of the 150g CC was estimating. So the calorie count was much much lower...
Depends on the size of the cookie.
Baking cookie isn't very hard. You can make whole grain and nearly fat free cookies at home! just replace whatever oil or butter with applesauce!
If you made the cookies, you know what's in 'em. Why not log it all into the recipe analyzer and find out how much it really is for each serving?
