is it possible to cook prawns and re-heat them the day after to eat?

You can reheat them, but the taste and texture isn't as good.  They get a bit rubbery.

what if i eat them cold like in a salad instead of re-heating them?

Better. Once you re-heat, if they were cooked properly first time, the keep cooking. prawns rubberise real quick, so when you reheat its too easy to make them too chewy. So either cook them until JUST safe and cool, or have them cold.
