cool idea I think but I need advice
I had an idea for a better virtual model (at least more realistic in shape). I have noticed that with Virtual Model that the body shape and size is a bit off. like if someone weighs more than 225 and you lose weight it doesn't register till you hit below 225. Anyways my idea was to use a silhouette (cause I can't program 3d XD) and adjust an image based on measurements (arms, legs, tummy, chest etc.) The scripting wouldn't be that hard to swap out predefined image shapes based on measurements like if you entered you had a 32" waist then it throws in a predefined 32" waist, and then you put in your hip measurements and it would adjust the image for that.
But the advice I need is what measurements would be best to get from an average user. I know things like bicep, chest, (include a cup size for women), stomach, thighs, hips, maybe knees, maybe calves,? would you include something like kneck, forearms, ankles, or uppler and lower thighs? What would be overkill and prevent people from using it?
Would it be possible to include those measurements but make them optional? So that if the user can be bothered to enter in all that information it will be more accurate, but if the user doesn't the program just guesses/estimates?
well you could but it would decrease the accuracy of it.. it would be more like the mvm website
Or are you talking like extra measurements like the neck, calf and stuff.
