I guess I'm not the only one a little weirded out by saying their real names.
I'm so looking forward to picking on him when he grows up for that second part of his middle name.
My other nephew is Donavin D'Mitri and I hate both names, which is why I stick with Butters as a nickname.

I like the name Alistair for a boy and I'm partial to Russian names for girls for some reason... like Katya, Ekaterina, etc.
The husband and I had the names Freya (for a girl), and Basil (for a boy) picked out once upon a time... now all I know is I have the perfect boy name that fits so well with our last name... I am insanely protective of it though because when I looked it up it wasn't in the top 1,000 names since 1900, so until I pop out a baby boy, you all will never know. :P
Sometimes I love the name Thora, sometimes it just reminds me of the actress Thora Birch. *shrug*
I love old names, though. Pearl, Clementine, Ramona... none of them go over well with my husband, though.
I've always felt I had a really odd name and thru my childhood it was a great pain to be named Kyna. Now that I am older, it seems more unique and around here no one has the same name as me. My son's name is Walker.
