Seriously, 800 calories per 1 slice of cheese pizza? Holy cr*p. I'm 400 calories over maintenance now.

Yea, the slices do come from an 18 inch pizza ...
If i remember well, all the costcos in San Diego had a chicken ceasar salad, with dressing on the side...next time go for it!
I really like Costco food... I buy Janes Frozen Grilled Chicken strips and add them to everything... salad, sandwiches, stir fry etc.. they're fast, low fat, low cal and high in protein.

When I'm in the mood for junkfood I have the frozen chicken quesadillas.  They're 280 cals per, but stuffed full of chicken, peppers and cheese.  With a side salad, they make the perfect lunch!
well, it's pizza. It should notbe surprising. But there are pizza with less calories than that
Costco food is evil!!  Just check out their calorie content on their Muffins.  They vary in the 600 range, FOR ONE MUFFIN!!!  I try to just buy the frozen stuff like lasagnas and that now.  I agree Costco is FIRED
The food isn't evil, it's the giant portion size.

One slice of Costco pizza is huge.  Cut it in half or in thirds. And blot the grease.

BTW - be careful with the chicken caesar salad. Depending on how much dressing you use, it's no better than the pizza.  756 calories per salad and 91 grams of fat.
I couldn't believe it when I found out about the calories and fat in the salad! I stopped eating all of the food in the costo restaurant, except the frozen yogurt. I love it, but I can't eat the whole thing, 400 calories. So I get water cups and split it between me and my three kids.

I do love being there when they have samples of stuff because I get to try a bite of stuff that I would never buy!
Does anyone know how many calories are in Sam's Club Pizza?
Try the Chicken Bake...it is the best...but that is a special treat once every 3 months or so....And at 600 calories and 26 grams of fat....well you already know...
If you're craving pizza, try  Little Caesars - only 180 cal / slice (cheese pizze) - check it out http://www.littlecaesars.com/menu/nutrition.a sp?category=menu

We have pizza once a week, and I can have 4 slices and it's only 720 cals (I'm on a 1500-1800 cal / day diet)
No, it's not evil.  Have you checked the portion size?  Once slice is one-quarter of an 18 inch pizza. One slice of pizza could easily make 2-3 meals.  Chicken bake, 2 meals.  Chicken ceasar salad, 2 meals.  Their frozen yogurt is wonderful, and the whole cup only has 280 calories.  Not too bad at all when you're looking for a treat!  As usual, it's about portion size.  :)
Only 280? The lady working there said it was 390, but the portion they serve is huge, at least 2 cups.
Almost all of the food we eat in our household comes from Costco. There's nothing inherently evil in Costco's food any more than anywhere else. You just have to be judicious in what you buy.

We get the frozen chicken breasts in bulk, fresh vegetables when available, salsas, potatoes (russet, red and yellow), lean meats to be used in the crock pot, eggs, sauerkraut, seasonings, and some of their supplements - MultiVitamin with Minerals, Vitamins E & C, Flax Seed Oil, and a few other odds & ends.

We do avoid a lot of processed foods - just as we would in a supermarket. But we eat very well, and fairly inexpensively.

...and far from becoming overweight, we used these foods as the core of our regimin while preparing for bodybuilding competition.

Evil? Not at all. Costco has plenty of good stuff available - you just have to get past the other foods to get to them.
I should have been more specific prime, I meant their food court food.  There's definitely plenty of healthy options to buy there.  I get my frozen organic veggies there for the same price as non-organic elsewhere.  I know that the salad is okay if you lay off the dressing, but caesar salads are just so booorrrring to me now.  Sigh.
Actually, you are correct, the frozen yogurt is about 390 in calories.  It is 336.0 grams, which is 1.46 cups x 270 calories per cup = 394.  It is HUGE though, and I can usually only eat half of it.  Thank goodness!  :)
