I feel slightly strange and wierd for saying so, but cottage cheese is probobly like one of my top favorite foods. I LOVE it. I love it with yogurt. I love it on salads. I love it as a snack. A meal. Sweet. Savory. All by itself. Mmmm...

My favorite is Nancy's low-fat cultured cottage cheese. It has live active cultures and is creamy and tangy just like yogurt.

cottage cheese is my fav way to get dairy.  The equivilant calorie in yogart I dont even feel in my stomach but FF cottage cheese really hits the spot!

I put cottage cheese on my bagel this morning, in the pasta salad I made for lunch tommorow and will probably put in my steel cut oats midnight snack Tongue out

to tell you the truth, i've never tried it. i've only had it in lasagna. how do you recommend i try eating it for the first time? eating it with fruit doesn't really appeal to me. in some sort of salad? on a bagel?

I use 1/4 cup or so on omelettes- it's lovely! Add a lot of pepper, or some fresh basil and you're in protein & healthy fats heaven.

sounds good. perhaps i'll try it. =)

calorie count has already made me a cottage cheese maniac....everyone at my old school thought i was crazy to eat soo much cottage cheese....

....after 2 years....i am still that cottage cheese maniac....:D my favourite one is probably the one with thai sweet chilli sauce!

Yum I do the same thing with my egg white omelettes, with some chopped up tomatoes delicious :)

I normally mix some garlic powder into my cottage cheese, put it into a whole wheat pita with some veggies, lightly warm it in the oven (or my GT Express) and eat it like that.

Damn putting cottage cheese on a bagel sounds yummy!

This time of the year, I love cottage cheese with salsa.  In the summer, home-grown tomatoes, salt, pepper, I am in heaven.  Have to be home-grown, though.  I can't wait, my garden is going in this week-end.

I looove cottage cheese. I put mandarin oranges or strawberries with it. It's GREAT with strawberries. I just wish it didn't have so much sodium >_<

OMG, ..I have been thinking for the last few days about posting a message asking for help with my cottage cheese addiction.

I initially bought it to have for breakfast on toast with spinach, tomato , avocado and sometimes egg and ham. I now find myself eating it straight from the tub every time I open the fridge, aahhhhhh. I go through a 500gram tub (about 1 pound) every 2 or 3 days.

I so love the taste and the texture but wonder how much is too much.

I have never mixed it with fruit as i have read here that some people do..I love it plain too much to be tainting it with other food, lol.

HELP!!!-

Cottage cheesics annonymous?

I LOVE cottage cheese.  I like mixing it with cinnamon and FiberOne--sounds weird, tastes great!  I would say it is a little unhealthy to eat 1 pound of the stuff in 2 days.  Maybe try yogurt instead?  Greek yogurt has as much protein as cottage cheese, i think, so maybe  you could try that?  I would just be concerned of lack of variety...

I buy the Friendship 1% Lowfat No Salt Added Cottage Cheese to try and avoid all the sodium. It tastes really weird at first but I got used to it very fast and now I love it!

I loooove cottage cheese! I buy the low-fat type, sodium doesn't bother me that much. my favourite way to eat it is with protein powder - strawberry flavour. It fills me up so well, really like nothing else, not even a big steak. mostly eat it plain tho. it was hard to stop eating a 500g package everyday, I'm down to 1 package 3 times a week lol :)

I love cottage cheese too! I have it almost every day. Its sooo good with fruit preserves  (or banana) and peanut butter. My favorite combination. Its also pretty good plopped on top of some oat bran when its colder out. Or with a scrambled egg, veggies and sweet potato fries.
