I love cottage cheese.

How do you enjoy yours??

i enjoy it topped with cereal--all bran buds or something sweet like honey nut cheerios :)

hahaha I am obsessed with cottage cheese. I love it plain, mostly, but sometimes with fruit like apples, peaches, or pineapple... :)

Plain all the way!

I love cottage cheese.  I usually eat it with cinnamon (yum) or, if I need something more substantial, I'll have cottage cheese with cinnamon and some fiber one cereal mixed in.  It fills me up for hours and hours!

Plain, or with pineapple, or in Quaker Maple Lower Sugar oatmeal :] Yumyum! I loooove cottage cheese!

I first tried it a month ago with pineapple...did not love it, it was okay.

Tried low fat small curd this week, plain with pepper, really enjoyed it, then with veggies and crackers...still like it.

Maybe I don't like it sweet...any other ideas???

I really don't like it with fruit, but some people do. I mix mine with some plain yogurt and stir in ground flaxseed. Sounds wierd, but it's really good!

a slice of bread and tomato ketchup .

I just sprinkle a little bit of salt on mine.  (I have been told that I don't get enough salt in my diet.)

Druciana, cottage cheese is usually loaded with salt as it is. Unless you're really active you're probobly getting enough sodium. You really don't need more than 500mg, which is about how much is in a serving of cottage cheese.

Actually there is low sodium cottage cheese which I buy all the time. Its Friendship brand low sodium in the red jar.

Try it with garlic and parsley for a change!

I love mine a variety of ways with pepper and cracker, or peaches .. even the motts all natural fruit flavored applesauce make a great combination! i have to say i had never thought of putting my whole grain cereals with it!! i am going to try that next time.. thanks for the ideas every one!

I like mine with carrot sticks!  Good dip with a nice crunch.

I don't like sweet things with cottage cheese. I usually eat it plain or add a tiny bit of Italian or Greek salad dressing. Today I mixed together half a cup of cottage cheese, a tablespoon of tomato paste and some pepper and microwaved it. It was really yummy. It reminded me of lasasgna or manicotti minus the noodles. I also use it mixed in with tuna instead of mayonnaise when I make a tuna sandwich. Actually I'll put it on just about any sandwich. It replaces both mayo and cheese for me because it has all the creaminess and saltiness I need. Sometimes I eat it with curry to cut the spiciness, sort of like raita. So basically I use it just about anywhere I can think of. I'm not a vegetarian but I don't really like meat so cottage cheese is really helpful for getting enough protein.

Coralbell; you just gave me a  great idea for a new recipe! thanks!

I only like it with peanut butter. I use about a half tablespoon of peanut butter and a half cup of cottage cheese. :)

I hate cottage cheese with pineapple!! ...I either have it plain or it's great sprinkled with chives.  I really like cottage cheese actually- which is a good thing!

Cottage cheese with sliced apples and sugar/splenda/wutever is just MAGIC!

Cottage cheese with granola/all bran/chopped nuts, a chopped apple and cranberries/raisins/chopped dates + sprinkle of cinnamon.

YUM. Eat some variation of this every day for PM snack.
