Does anyone have ideas for cottage cheese?

oh MAN - I am SUCH a cottage cheese fan!

My favorite way to eat it has to be this:

1 cup CC +
1 T unsweetened cocoa powder +
1/2 t cinnamon +
1/4 t vanilla +
Sweetener to taste


Mix it all together.  :D  It's super yummy and is GREAT with some crunchy cereal.  I sometimes use 1/2 cup cottage cheese and 1/2 cup vanilla yogurt.



but it's also fabulous savory, with some green onions, tomatoes, salt, pepper and maybe a splash of balsamic vinegar.

My favorites are very simple... cottage cheese with garlic powder mixed in, or cottage cheese with faux-maple-syrup and faux-brown-sugar on top. But I also love a superfood trail mix tossed into some cottage cheese (At my local wholefoods, they have a trail mix-ish blend of goji berries, mulberries, and cacao nibs - really good in cottage cheese!)

I eat mine with slices of bananas, or pineapples (in juice, fresh is best), fruit cocktail, pears. I use differenct fruit for variety. Anxious to hear if anyone has more ideas! 

I love cottage cheese! My dad eats it as a side with everything lol. Sometimes when I was little I would crush up cheese chips (like Doritos) in my cottage cheese, but I don't eat those anymore. Now that I watch what I eat I like peaches, pears, turkey, tomatoes, brussel sprouts, and I occasionally just try random stuff in it. I say just take something you like and try it with cottage cheese and see if works.

Cottage cheese with tuna and spanish olives, or just the tuna.

Cottage cheese with cherry tomatoes cut in half.

Cottage cheese with lots of cracked black pepper.

Cottage cheese with pears, or fav  canned fruit (packed in water!)

Cottage cheese with....the list can go on and on......Get imaginative!

A great high-protein way to eat cottage cheese- make like you're making an omelet, but don't put anything in it. Remove the egg from the pan, let it cool a bit, and then fill with cottage cheese. MMMMM

Cottage cheese and peanut butter, it sounds crazy but its soooo GOOD. 

Just add 1 tbsp peanut butter to 1/2 cup cottage cheese and you'll be in heaven. :]

1/4 cottage cheese, 1/4 oats, half banana, 1 tablespoon of peanut butter, 1 indivdual serving of your favorite yogurt mix together in a bowl.
