couch potatoe....
I want to know for people who were couch potatoes and now exercise regularly, with dedication, how did this process begin for you?
What was easy, what was difficult? What type of exercise did you to stick to?
My girlfriend who lives 1200 miles away and I have just recently started with this journey. Although she has a lot more to lose than I do we will get through this together. She also is trying to lose 100lbs, but is being realistic about it. She knows that this is not "The Biggest Loser", she has kids and other things in life to do also.
Currently she has lost 16lbs with a weigh in tomorrow, it could be more. She joined her local YMCA and is now using CC to watch what she eats. Her eyes have been opened wide using this site. I am so very proud of her!
You can do this too! We speak everyday on the phone and discuss what we are going to eat for the day and what type of workouts we will be doing. This really helps both of us a lot! I really think this buddy system we have going works. It keeps us both in check, when I feel down, she's there. When she feels down, I'm there for her. Even though its 1200 miles apart.
