when you count the calories in rice,

do you measure one cup of rice as uncooked rice or cooked rice.

I'm pretty sure it's cooked.  That's the way I measure it anyway.  I'm pretty sure I read that you measure it cooked.

you measure it cooked. most def. one cup of uncooked rice equals ALOT of cooked rice.

i remember logging one cup of cooked rice for lunch.

the counter told me that I had consumed over 600 calories just for a cup of rice!

i freaked out, lost control and binged. neurotic me.

and then I found that the mesurement I had used was for uncooked rice.

so i had only actually eaten just under 300.

sigh.
