Weight Loss
Moderators: duke3522, devilish_patsy, topanga1485, nycgirl, spoiled_candy, cmillington, coach_k Do you count fat, carbs, sugar, ect?
I began my diet counting calories, and recently I've begun counting carbs fat sugar and sodium. Do I really need to? I'm not really sure which of these are really that important for weight loss.

As far as I understand it - in the end, it's all about calories in and calories out, no matter where they come from. However, health, which is so much more important reflects a balanced diet. Most will probably suggest about 25% of your calories come from fats, 25% come from protien, and 50% come from carbs, and that you keep your sodium under 2300 mg a day. Lucky us, this site keeps track of all of that for us!
Plus:
Fiber = ~30g
Cholesterol = under 300mg
